Embarrassing. Rondo should be the most ashamed of all, I'm starting to question his pride, after getting smoked by terrible PG like Mo Williams he is now powerless against Mike Bibby, of all people.

Sweet, the pessimists are out in force.  ::)

I know I am, but I'm desperately trying to find ONE single reason to be optimistic..  ::)

can you blame them though?  They've looked 100% outmatched by the two teams that will be their biggest competition in the playoffs.

both the trade and Marquis going down was key. The injury (which forced Danny to trade him) took away a key bench guy on offense and defense and Perk... well he's Perk.

Still think we'll be fine in the playoffs. Shaq and JO will not be healthy for them and will not play every game but if the new guys can get going we'll be just fine.

i am telling you this team might not survive the first round. they look like an 8 seed right now. no way they beat miami in round two.

new official stance:  This team is a nonfactor in the playoffs if Shaq doesn't come back  Either we get upset in round 1 or embarrassed in round 2.  Shame.  Getting outrebounded by a team with no big man.
If Jermaine O'Neal is good for 28-32mpg by the time the second round starts ... I think the Celtics will still be very dangerous in the playoffs.

However, if Shaq does not return + Jermaine cannot play more minutes or if he gets injured again, then I agree ... this team doesn't have a shot at a title.

if the Cs get the knicks..they are in trouble
Nah, the C's have more than enough to beat the Knicks as is.

Not concerned about the first round opponent. Too large a talent gap between the top and the bottom of the East's playoff teams.

People are just reacting to the product they're seeing on the floor.  Neither Rondo nor Ray look right, and that's discouraging.  Plus, we have a gaping hole at the center position.

We'll all be pulling for this team once the playoffs start, but when they're playing the way they are right now, you're not going to hear a lot of encouraged fans, unfortunately.

I have lost all the faith in this team. This is it. They dig a hole for themselves and expect to get out of it in the playoffs? Not going to happen this year. They will regret not playing hard to end the regular season, because either they lose in the First Round, or at the very latest in the East Semis.

So, pass up on an open Ray Allen three pointer from the corner to get Glen Davis a 16 foot jump shot?  Is that what I just saw?

I guess it's more fun giving up than you know actually rooting for the team. I need to ask some of these people what the next winning  lotto # is
Still don't believe in Joe.
