Chicago is clearly the better team at this point. Totally smothering the celts tonight.

Younger, tougher, better rebounding, better on defense, better on offense, more disciplined, better bench . . .

There isn't an area of the game in which the Celtics have been better.  Just thoroughly outplayed.

A fit starting 5 will beat Chicago, easily. They have alot of flaws on the offensive end.

So I guess our starting five sucks?

You understood me incorrectly there. I'm basically saying with Shaq and JO playing more minutes we're a much stronger outfit in the paint, clogging the lanes etc.

I know it's just a regular season game but still we got some work to do

I wish Doc would play JO more; Baby's D stinks, and Boozer can just shoot over him. Meantime, no one from Boston is being aggressive: Delonte's content to just dribble around the perimeter instead of drive, ditto with Rondo, Green's like a bump on a log. Arrrghgghg.

Remember when the celts used to move the ball on offense?

They're just hitting threes. That's it.

Thats the only difference in my opinion also.

Fact, not excuse. Check the box score. Every thing else. Rebounds, TOs, # of shots, fouls shots is pretty even. Except 3's. Its the back to back--tired legs. No BTBs in playoffs so dont write them off.
They are getting open threes because rose is breaking down our defense. That's not going away so well have to find an answetold beat them in spite of rose.

We, on the other hand, can't even get an open three in large part because of their defense.

So no, it isn't just that they are hitting threes. They are flat out outplaying us.

This game isn't even fun to watch anymore...

I told myself I wasn't going to judge the trade until I saw it in action...I have no choice but too officially say that I hate the trade now.  The celtics with perk had an offensive chemistry that was unlike any other and that was completely killed with this trade...Doc can't get any type of chemistry going with the new pieces, the defense is nowhere near what it used to be...the old team went into LA, into Miami, and won...you think this team can do that when it matters?  I'm gonna go with no.

And now there's this rumor that Jeff Green is actually very unhappy here and has no plans to sign an extension?  Epic fail of a trade Danny...epic fail.

they aren't a championship team Redz. it is hard for me to admit that but they just aren't. I know you expect a magical switch to be flipped in 2 weeks but i just don't see it happening.

Nope. It must've been a long time.

This is what HCA looks like...

This is FAR from a playoff game. Playoffs are a whole different animal. Especially for the Celtics. I don't understand why fans get so caught up in a meaningless regular season game. Obviously the team has bigger things on their minds.

not meaningless. Cs having to go through miami and the bulls without home court in either not a nice draw

What we need is a big forceful space eating defensive center to stop Rose from penetrating and then to get rebs instead of letting the Bulls get their bigs inside, then he can feed the outlet pass ......oh....wait a minute.
