Hey guys, any updates on Nenad's injury? The announcers were saying it might be a torn ACL after watching the replays. If he can't come back anytime soon, then Murphy's signing would be very huge in my opinion. He'd be the insurance big behind the O'Neals.

If it were an ankle I'd say not a big deal... but it was his knee.  My initial reaction is that he won't be back this season / offseason.

They were going to need Shaq back anyway. If nenad is done, it means more minutes for Shaq and Jo.

Let's show some class, everybody.  This isn't the thread to be criticizing the guy's game.

That isn't a good thing.

That is the big concern. Was hoping for 10 minutes a gam for krstic. Now we probably have baby/KG playing 15 a game at center.

Shaq needs to come Back healthy ASAP.

If he's done for the year, presumably they'd cut him in order to bring in a live body with size before the playoffs (i.e. Chris Johnson? Seann Williams?), unless they see his Bird Rights as meaningful (which I doubt)

Considering we don't want to overplay the O'Neals down the stretch and JO might have to take games off here and there, another backup C (Krstic) would be nice.

Being the center for the Celtics these days is like being the drummer for Spinal Tap.

Hope Nenad recovers - the buckle didn't look that bad to me, but everything I'm hearing says it probably was.  Fingers crossed.

Those of you, who critize him: Did you see how he had picked up on the defense tonight? He would be very useful to us, both right now and as a sub, when the other bigs get in foul trouble. I hope it's not to serious, but it looked pretty bad :(

Heh, I dunno who we can get that would help us now but OK.

Terribly ironic the day JO returns. Now the Shaq return date has more meaning. Hopefully Kristic is fine or at worst misses a few games. JO looked good for limited minutes but we can't have him fill the 5 spot alone these next few games
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Not saying they'd help, but they need big guys for minutes before the end of the season at the very least, in practice during the playoffs, and potentially for playoff minutes in the worst case scenario that they have to use one of their 12 roster spots there (i.e Murphy can't go, Shaq and JO are still very shaky). I could see a guy like Johnson making the playoff roster over Murphy, Bradley and Pavlovic.

Is there anyone the Cs could sign of value who isn't in the d league? Anyone in Europe?
