The loss of this guy has turned this team into a lottery team, since his departure we are comparable to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

We knew he brought more then stats to this team, but wow, I never realized he brought THIS much. He pretty much made this team what it was. He was our LeBron.

I never knew it but now its obvious.

Kendrick Perkins was our best and most important player. His presence alone wether on the court or on the bench propelled this team. He was our core, without him we are nothing.

Without him, we cant even beat the worst teams in the league.

I hope we somehow turn this ship around but I have no idea who is going to carry us to victory since Perkins isnt around.

No he wasn't. But that starting 5 as a whole was.

Oh cmon.  We have Nenad Krstic now. He's good offensively.  That's why we won tonight. Um. Got close I mean.

I actually think it's pretty clear that Harrangody was our MVP.

No Luke, no championship.

Perhaps Roy can figure out a way to set up "Jonathan Swift" as one of our titles in the forums.

Was Kendrick Perkins playing when we had that awful stretch last year around this time?

Yeah. This is this team's MO.

Also, the team was already showing signs of losing their good play before the All-Star game.

No, this is entirely on the Big 4 and their crappy play, even when they play with Davis, who has been with them since the beginning.

Yea but we are missing Perkins.

Celtics without Perkins are like the Cavs without LeBron.

Were going to struggle beating teams, simple as that.

Krstic is so good on offense though. He is really helping us in these almost wins.

We were up 11 in the 4th quarter.....yea, sorry, not buying it. I'm not even sure if OP is being 100% serious, but to answer the question, yea, a lotta doubt he was our MVP.

I still remember when even with Perk on this team last season, everyone here was saying that teams were supposedly not scared of us. I know whoever said that won't admit they said that, but they did. That's reason enough to say Perkins wasn't our MVP, and more than likely he won't be the Thunder's, either.

The problem is JO and Shaq need to come back. Krstic is doing his best, bless him, but he's not enough. BBD clearly can't be our long-term center off the bench, or even to close games. I'm done seeing that.

No doubt our chemistry was affected. I'm not gonna act like that suddenly never existed. But if you wanna know why we're not winning the games we should, IMO......Perkins went out, and Shaq and JO have yet to come in since, thus Krstic has been our only legit center. Murphy wasn't getting it done as it was, and now even HE is hurt.

Hopefully JO and Shaq do actually come back Wednesday and Thursday, and finally we have more than one center. If they both come back, we're that much tougher to beat.

Celtics without Perkins are like the Cavs without LeBron.

According to that logic we should be a, what, 16 or 17 win team?

The Thunder are 5-1 in games Perk has played in for them.  Oh well. Winning is overrated I guess.
