HAHAHAHAHAHA wow that last possession was awful.

Eh...  they got Ray an open look.  That's not awful, it's just a miss.

The Celtics rely way too much on outside shooting . . . they could have gotten it inside.  I'm really sick of the reliance on 3's and long 2's at the end of games.  And after they got the rebound, they should have done something other than have KG take a 3 from a million feet out.  There were still a few seconds left on the clock.

The worst part about all of this...is that we were a championship team this season. We were ready to go all the way. Trophy? Probably had our name engraved in it already. No one could beat us in a 7 game series and everyone knew it..

And now this. If we sucked this bad all season I wouldn't even be upset right now. But the dismantling of this team and the fall from grace...is really just hard to swallow.

I need several drinks.

Time for wholesale resting of the players. HCA is out the window. No longer deserve it.

Cant even beat the Bobcats when they are missing their best player.

Minnesota doesent have Kevin Love, they are going to murder us lol.

Not the 1st time this year or in the past hat this happens. The 'we don't have to try as hard because their best player is not playing' They still have not learned it seems.

Once again I am finding myself watching the Celtics in March / April thinking that this team does not deserve a championship.

Not sure if Perk would've helped tonight.

For this game, they need to look no further than the mirror.

People keep comparing this to last year. This team Is nothing like last year's team

The reactions to the losses and the "sky is falling" kinda threads are the same though...so maybe it is like last season.

And we lost last season!  So comparing this team to last season is not a positive thing.

We were supposed to be different and better this year.  Clearly we aren't!  That's why this is so disheartening.

This year was supposed to be different.  We weren't supposed to have to sit through this weak stuff again.

2 point loss and two games behind Chicago.  Even so, I am not worried.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Would Rondo be tradeable at this point if KG and Pierce retire after this year?  I believe he has been a huge locker room problem since the trade.

What's your point?

The '08 team had heart, played hard every night, and had the energy and the talent to defeat the bad teams almost all of the time.

The '10 team slogged through the regular season and stumbled to a 4th seed, then played much, much better in the post-season.  Ultimately, however, they didn't have enough energy to keep winning without HCA all the way through the finals, and they lost in LA.

What, am I supposed to take heart in the idea that maybe we'll make another deep run and lose cause we ran out of energy on the road again?  Is that supposed to be comforting when it could have been otherwise, if this team could just stay focused through the last month and a half?

The chemistry of this team is all messed up right now.  But here's news for everyone.  Even if they hadn't made the Perkins trade this would have happened.  People forget how pathetic their bench was the month before the trade.  Unfortunately it looks like the trade didn't work but things starting going south when Marquis got hurt.  That messed everything else up.

Big 3 are tired.  Rondo and BBD are playing horribly and they're getting nothing out of their new guys.  That's the recipe for all this garbage.

Right. Perk's not in it.

Please tell me how Perk would have helped on a night where our team couldn't make a shot?  He was one of the least talented offensive players on the team, in all honesty.  He certainly wouldn't have helped with the turnovers.

The main problem that I see is that throughout this stretch of bad play from the Celtics, Rondo has been playing like a borderline starter instead of an All-Star.
