Better start hoping for another miracle in the playoffs this year. Maybe the whole team needs a cortisone shot.

So, you think that last year's run was "a miracle"? IMO that couldn't be more silly. This is just the RS blues, I guess our team wants to bring home Banner 18 in the hardest possible way.

Yes. One of those things that happens every 20 or so years.

And here's the thing . . . that miracle didn't even result in a championship, just an admirable run that was much closer to one than any of us expected.

The C's added depth and offensive talent to this team in the hopes of being able to secure HCA and be a more dangerous team.  That hasn't worked.  They have the same glaring weaknesses as they did last season, and they might have even less depth unless they got a lot healthier really quickly.

Better start cheering for the Thunder or the Spurs guys, because they are our only hope.

Celts have the worst offense in the league right now. Mind-boggling

The look on Doc's face on the bench with about 2 minutes left said it all. Sorry fellas. Not happening this  year. Thanks Danny.

Miami wins, Chicago in a dogfight. Celtic better win this or will be up only one in loss column on heat

We're going to be the 3 seed, on the road after the first round.  Nothing to be done about it.  This team just doesn't have enough.

The consolation, I guess, is that the Celtics were never supposed to be this good for this long.  The window seemed like it might be open longer because of the unexpected infusion of young talent (Rondo, BBD, and now Green), but none of those players is really turning out to be anything more than a role player (even an elite one, in Rondo's case).

I think I'll stop watching indefinitely if they lose this game.

And NY lost, again ;D.

I expect to see Spike Lee suiting up soon. He will be at SG or SF, leading the charge.

Nah, there are at least a few teams that are worse.  But the C's definitely have one of the worst defenses out there.  Seeing as the defense is actually worse than last year, that's a really bad sign.

Thankfully, BBD fouled out so we know we won't go to BBD for the game winner...

Once again I am finding myself watching the Celtics in March / April thinking that this team does not deserve a championship.

I think that's the thing with the fans that remember that year -- the C's that year came out and played EVERY game like it mattered.  no nights off.  sure they had a few stinkers, every team does.  but that team wanted to win every night and they didn't coast during the second half of the season and lose repeatedly to crappy teams.   yeah, Washington had their number that year and they had issues on the road in the playoffs but they played hard all the time.

and now they officially go down to a disgusting defeat   >:(
