With the exception of their recent OT loss, it seems like the Bulls are just blowing other teams away. I haven't watched any of those games, but seeing the scoring differentials over the last month or so has me worried about how well they seem to be playing. Has anyone been watching them regularly? If so, what is their weak link. I know that position-wise it is the two guard, and then maybe some aspects of their bench. I'm looking more for insights about where they might struggle defensively or what matchups could be exploited.

If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

unfortunately you can say the same for the Lakers.

Their link is SG and that there are two other teams that are more talnted and more experienced them them in the east.

They remind me of last years regular season Cavs. Destroying people and getting the spotlight in the regular season. We'll see how they do in the playoffs.

The really don't remind me of the Cavs at all because everyone was basically a Lebron Sidekick on the Cavs. The Bulls look like a team.

Wishful thinking reminds me that winning the east guarantees nothing, like we saw with the Cavs, but comparing these two teams seems superficial to me.

they haven't had the hardest stretch here, either. not to say they're not legit (they definitely are), but they've been beating up a lot of bad-to-mediocre teams.

They are more a TEAM, but they are just as lost as the cavs are when Rose goes to the bench.

That's because we are 3000 years older and we aren't really trying. I have nothing to say about the Bulls but just b/c we aren't breezing through teams right now doesn't mean anything... wait until it gets tough!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I posted a similar thread a while ago.. I dunno, the one thing that scares me about them is their coach, and I don't know why it doesn't get talked about more.  He knows our strengths and weaknesses as well as anyone.  Other than that, the only advantage they have matchup-wise is at the 5.  Bench and all other positions we're better or a wash.

And just because a team "destroys" others means very little.  How often do the celtics "destroy" teams, even in their championship year?  in fact every time they're up by 20 it's almost a given that lead will be single digits before it's over.  But they win games, period.  Lets see the bulls do it in the postseason.

The best two teams since the All-Star break have definitely been the Lakers and the Bulls.  However, contrary to what the media would like you to think, the best teams going into the playoffs aren't necessarily the ones that are the most dangerous.  Being "hot" going into the post-season is very overrated, just as too much is made of being in a "slump" going into them.

The Celtics and the Spurs are going to surprise people who have written them off once the post-season arrives.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

The Bulls are tearing through the league.  They've dropped a couple games since the All-Star break to teams like the Raptors and Pacers, but you're always going to have that.

I don't know when the last time they lost to an actual contendor was.

The Bulls are for real

Well they scored a higher margin of victory in back to back games than Jordan ever did last night when they broke the franchise record (+73 I believe).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

They are more a TEAM, but they are just as lost as the cavs are when Rose goes to the bench.

Come on Rose is taking the second most shots a game out of anyone in the league right behind Monta Ellis.

They are a young team with a young dominant ball player, who completely relies on him. With out Rose the Bulls would be as bad as those Cavs teams if they didnt have Lebron.

There is no way a team with Noah, Boozer and Deng (and other solid role players like Korver) would be as bad as the Cavs.
