Who wins a Championship First: Knicks or Heat?

As much as everyone wants us to win every single championship in the NBA (including me). Which one of these "super" teams will win it first? (Of course they'd have to go through Dwight's team (maybe us), D-Rose's Bulls, Durant's thunder and others)

My pick would be the Knicks, since they have a more skilled big man in STAT, and a good pure scorer in Melo. What do you guys think?

I think it will be the Heat.  They have more high-end talent, and unlike the Knicks, their talent can play defense.

Lebron and Wade aren't the best fit next to each other, but I think they'll figure it out eventually.  In fact, it wouldn't shock me if they won the title this year, whereas the Knicks are a *long* way off.

I'll take it a step further, the Heat are the Celtics biggest threat in the East come playoff time. Those guys are reg season stat collectors, they'll do what they gotta do come playoff time. I still think we pull it off and win it all though. Our depth will be too much for them.

Yeah I see that the heat have a shot at winning it now and a few years from now.

The longer the Heat put off winning the championship, the more worried they should be worried about the knicks. But i'm more intrigued about how the Knicks play out and the moves that they make. They havn't completely tied down their money like the Heat have so i feel like the Knicks will have a better opportunity to attract the FA's and spend the money. (It does help to have an owner who does not mind having the highest payroll in the league every year).

Amare and Melo each make more then any of the Heat players and make enough combined that NY is essentially going to be over the cap every year they have those two players (when you account for cap holds, rookie deals, etc.).  In other words, both the Knicks and Heat are playing with the MLE, LLE, and veteran exceptions.  Couple that with the fact that the Heat have the two best players on either team, have the extra "star", already have Miller and Haslem locked down for three seasons at respectable money, and I like the Heat's chances way more then the Knicks.

As long as D'Antoni is in New York, the Heat.  LeBron isn't the best 1 on 1 defender at his position, but as far as a SF goes, he is much like KG on a team defense.  He is a good team defender, as well as an above average 1 on 1 defender.  Wade is no slouch on defense either.  If they can get Bosh to trade his skirt in for a pair of basketball shorts, then the Heat will be serious.
