Ainge's highway robbery is looking more like "petty shoplifting" right now. ;)

Yeah, Danny shoplifted a big bag of fool's gold.

Holy Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., the last offense play says it all.

What's up with all the negativity guys?

TP.  I like your sentiment.  It's easier being negative.  That way if your hopes are dashed, you don't feel as bad.  You can say you "expected it".
Seriously, that's part of the psychology.

Well, at least Mike D'Antoni teams are not known for hanging on to big leads. 14 isn't insurmountable but that kind of play's not gonna cut it.  Ugly, ugly half.

In the meantime, who do you guys think will be sweeping us in the playoffs?

The Knicks are leading the Celtics by 14 at halftime! Just say that a couple of times and you will understand how ridiculous that sounds. Really, why am I watching Celtics games when they show such an effort?

Krstic was playing over his head against really bad teams. Green has still not impressed me. But hey, all that offense we have now got us 37 first half points against the knicks - lol.

I was warming up to the trade, but its obvious it destroyed everything about our team.

Since the trade we are worse on offense and worse on defense.

Shaq and JO need to suit up and play in one game, so we can see what its like to actually have a big body that knows how to protect the rim.

Krstic is invisible. I hate Danny right now, he destroyed this team.

Agreed.  Kg hasn't been playing that great either.

Rondo, on the other hand, looks much better than he's been playing (which, sadly enough, isn't saying much).

Moreover I would understand if we were getting torched by 20 points or more but we're down 14 at halftime against a Knicks team that played out of its mind defensively for one half, will get tired legs because of the back to back in the 2nd half, and we always play better in the 2nd half. Not worried, not to mention that 10 or 15 point leads mean nothing in the NBA, especially with the Knicks.

There isn't a player on this roster playing acceptable defense right now.

Our defense was built inside out.  Without an inside presence, the guys on the perimeter have to play tighter, and can't gamble as much to cause turnovers (which is one of the keys to our D).

Without a big man who can defend -- or, at least in the case of Shaq, fill up the paint -- our defense is sunk.

One big man - especially one who got eaten alive last night on the pick and roll - isn't going to change this but don't let me interrupt the efforts to revive this topic.

Just too many changes this late in the season to overcome. Really feeling that they wont get by Miami in round two.  Offense is nonexistent and the defense is getting worse each game.
