I'm usually pretty upbeat about the team, but I don't have a good feeling about this game. Just seems like one of those "here we go again" deals. But we'll see.

Way too early to start wailing about the playoffs. I won't go that far.

Serious question, though: Is Jeff Green better than Marquis Daniels or Tony Allen? I kept hearing that he was the best player in the trade but so far he's seemed to meld the ups and downs of Tony (maybe less spectacular) with the weird passivity of Quis.

playoff are 14 games away..every other contender has taken their game up a notch..boston has gotten worse

The only contender that I've seen take it up a notch is Lakers, possibly Chicago.

Dallas and Miami are both 5-5 in their last 10 games and San Antonio has pretty much been consistent all year.

But we have been getting worse, there's no denying that.

After watching Perkins get abused last night on the pick and roll, shall we bring him back at the half and watch Amare get 50?

Who exactly "abused" Perk last night?  Bargnani was 7-for-18, and Amir Johnson was 2-for-5.  That's 39%, and Calderon certainly wasn't beating the Thunder on penetration (1-for-7).  Perk rebounded Toronto's starting big men by himself.

I mean, I'm not sure that it's fair to accuse fans in here of exaggerating, when you talk about the "abuse" Perk suffered last night in a strong defensive effort.

If you want to see "abuse", watch Krstic try to cut off penetration.

Look up the word passive in the dictionary and you find Jeff Green's picture.

Well hes been bricking all of his shots tonight so hes lost his confidence probably.

I thought Green had nice looks in the first half but just didn't finish around the basket.

It would be nice if the celtics played a little defense. I love this team but wow. I would like to see Bill Russell stop in at practice one day, smile, and punch KG right in the mouth.

Why is Pierce not getting back on offense? Seems like he's been slow tonight.

"Abuse":  what offensive juggernaut Ronny Turiaf is doing to Krstic right now.

Yeah we need Shaq and probably JO back to win a title.  We knew that all season.  This is just one bad half and we aren't even out of the game by any stretch.

Sheesh, it's like last year all over again.  This is a good team that's playing poorly right now.  This too will pass.  I promise.

I couldn't have said it better. Remember when Miami went through their own rough patch a couple of weeks ago? After that they blasted the Spurs by 30 and have been playing well since then.

Well of course if the refs don't call the fouls on the Knicks we won't get really closer (Ray got fouled and didn't get anything).
