Our inside defense is going to suffer until Shaq and JO come back, which will be the playoffs when the games actually matter.

No point fretting about it now. Gotta deal with it. Only 14 more games.

So shaq and JO don't need any game time before the playoffs?

Nope.

Why would they? Shaq has been playing for 20 years, JO for 15. They know the game, clog the paint, dunk the ball, and block shots.

Krstic doesent do any of that because he isnt that type of player.

Shaq and JO have been paint bruisers for their entire career.

I feel perfectly confident in them coming in and playing well.

Only down 11 at the half. Much better than last night at least.

Finally someone who doesn't blame Rondo for everything.

I think people are really over looking the fact that Ray and Paul have been off on offense lately.

We looked a lot better as the game went on (mostly due to the bench)...outscored them 26-23 in the second quarter. This game is far from over.

I just dont understand why the team doesent just come out and say "Were coasting, we will play better in the playoffs"

At least Rondo is having a good game, even though its a fluke.

Hes hitting jumpers that he usually bricks, cant take much from this game.

Pretty sad when being down 11 at the half is an accomplishment.

It does feel like last year.  While this provides a little comfort, it still feels like hoping for another miracle.

Can the C's turn it on again come playoffs when they look this bad on March 19th?

Tommy puts on the positive spin -- the bench played well.

Actually he's making jumpers he usually made for most of the season up until this recent slump.

David West is a beast.  But Bellinelli?  We are making average players look like All World players.  Offense comes and goes, but no reason we shouldn't be able to contain guard/wing players.

If they arent coasting then what are they doing?

Four all-stars becoming d-league level players in the span of a week?

You cant possibly think that the Celtics are actually trying in these games.

Not coasting. Playing like crap, trying to integrate two new guys, and no interior presence on defense.

When did this team become the Lakers 2.0, coasting through the regular season and then "flipping the switch" come playoffs? What an insult to "Celtics Basketball" this team has become.
