We could use Nate Robinson during this rough stretch.

At least Nate would never be allergic to putting the ball through the hoop like the rest of our team, they seem scared to shoot and score.

No one will ever accuse Nate of being afraid to shoot.  Generally, when he shot, though, the ball wasn't actually going through the hoop.

Exactly, but it would at least show us someone on this team was willing to score, they all seem to not want the ball.

This team reminds of my junior league basketball teams when nobody wanted to shoot the ball and embarass themselves.

Yeah, that's the way to right the ship, offensively.  What this this needs is ballhogs.

Whats worse? A ballhog who can shoot and isnt afraid of shooting, or a team where nobody wants to shoot and would rather have Rondo take jumpers?

I think your missing my point, the point im trying to make is that we need someone who wants to take over. Nobody on this team wants to do that right now, they are content with losing games and letting Rondo embarass himself with jumpshots.

I couldn't disagree more vehemently with your assessment that "we need someone who wants to take over."  What we need is to get back to playing good, passing, ball and player movement, team Celtics basketball.  We have the guys on this team who can get it done.  Hopefully, they start getting some of their flow back tonight.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

We wont have any of those things until the playoffs, this team has turned off the switch and is conserving their energy.

In the meantime, we need a spark plug to get us through to the playoffs so we dont look completely terrible.

I think you're giving the C's too much credit. Overall they're trying to win these games, they are just getting beat.

If you think C's are actually trying to win these games and are losing to the Nets, Sixers and Clippers...were going to get booted in the first round.

They may be trying during the final 5 minutes, but for the first 43 minutes, they arent.

If they were playing in an NCAA style tournament absolutely. If no the first round then soon after.

Fortunately in a 7 game series without back to back games that isn't going to happen. Especially when a veteran team has lots of time to game plan for their opponent.

The C's aren't playing all that well lately. Hopefully we can turn that around starting tonight, but I don't belive its because of effort.

I think Rondo isn't playing well (probably due to a combination of things injury/fatigue/just random noise) and its hurtting the team overall.

I Agree but I also think that as a whole the team has turned off the switch right now. Weve seen this team long enough to know when the switch is on or off. Right now it looks like its off.

Just checked ESPN now and caught a few minutes of the day Perk got traded. Emotional really, felt tears coming down.

If you think their switch is off, does that mean we won't hear about this team being trash?
