Charles Barkley was right. At one point the Celtics legs were going to give out, your seeing the result right now.

This team is just too old, our only hope is to conceded HCA and rest our starters at some point in the near future. Garnett has regressed since the calf injury and now struggles under the basket as well as being unable to dunk and catch lobs, Ray Allen has lost his legs and begins his yearly month long slump. Pierce cant do it alone.

Maybe its because the Clippers/76ers are just young and athletic and those teams always give us problems, but I dont know.

Something is definately wrong with this team right now though.

If they keep playing like this they will end up the #2 seed and without HCA against the Lakers.

They might beat the Bulls but not playing like this, no chance against a healthy Lakers squad if they dont have HCA.

Its time to lower our expectations guys. Were an old team, these guys just dont have anything left in the tank.

On a side note im happy with Green/Krstic they are really playing well, its clear those two are going to have to be our best players if were going to get through this slump.

Our playoff run is going to look like this

1st Round: Knicks/76ers
2nd Round: Heat
ECF: Bulls
Finals: Lakers

Lol. Celtics have only themselves to blame beacuse I cant see them making it through 4 extremely tough series this year at their age.

So is the Heat out of gas?  Or do they just suck?

The Heat have problems as well, but being old isnt one of them.

They'll be fine once Shaq, Delonte, and BBD get back.  They're playing short-handed right now, and it's hard to ask them to win with their rotation handcuffed.

The bigger issue I see is integrating all the new bodies and getting them to fully understand our schemes.  That's going to be a lot easier said than done.  A lot of the guys look completely lost right now.

Good...coz the last time I checked oil wells around the world were still operating....we'll have plenty to motor along for the rest of the season and playoffs.

  • GOT IT!!!
I think the starters are tiring a bit. All these extended minutes due to injuries will catch up to those old legs eventually. I don't think it's all doom and gloom though. The bench just needs to get healthy and quick.

We simply aren't protecting the rim.

These are below average teams owning us in the paint.

It'll be ok. Two tough losses.

Nenad tryed his absolute guts out tonight.

We just missed wide open jumpers down the stretch.

I agree.

I think the biggest issue with the bigs is that the rotation is basically KG and Krstic with an out-of-position Green and a clueless Murphy playing backup.  Getting Shaq and BBD back will help out the front line tremendously.  That'll allow Green to slide in behind PP and Ray.  Hopefully West and Wafer coming back will allow Bradley and Sasha ride the pine.  Arroyo's the only waiver-wire guy that has looked sharp

Against the Sixers, it seemed that KG was passing up looks to give almost the same looks to Krstic. Was this a fatigue issue for KG or just his love for passing? I have no idea.

The bench wont be fully healthy until the Playoffs, this is the team we have to work with until then.
