Boston lost to a GOOD Clips team...one that has been playing well as of late. Not too much shame in that.

Exactly, why is it we look at the Clippers and say they are an awful team when they are not, and they now have Mo who once upon a time was an all-star.  Sure they have a bad record but place them in the east and they are instantly a low seed playoff team.  Lets not all overblow this loss on Rondo or KG because it is what it is...we lost and the team moves on from it.  Rondo will be fine and come playoff time we will all witness the real Rondo as he always does.

I get it, Krstic isn't as good defensively as Perkins, but give the guy a break...He went for 20 points and 9 rebounds last night!!!!!!!!! 

Perk would only get that statline if he played in a day-night doubleheader.

What other players have a vid dedicated to just that? A few - but not many.

The C's have been occasionally losing  to mediocre teams all year. This is the first time they've done it--or have lost--since  Krstic joined the team.

You would think that of all the fans in the NBA that Boston Celtics fans would be the last people to blame one guy for a loss. All we talk about is team work, team defense, guys sharing the ball.

First off the clippers are much, much better than thier record indicated. They have a lot of solid players, other teams just get up for them really hard because they all hate gettin dunked on by griffin.

Secondly, this is basketball. We're still on Pace to win 60+ games which is very, very good. We cant expect to win 70 games.
We are gonna lose games every now and again and thats all there is too it. We really only had one bad quarter yesterday, it was just really bad and it cost us the game.

C'mon guys, we're goin deep into the playoffs and thats when our vets really shine.

THANK YOU! I'm still not sold one way or the other about the trade. I'm holding out to make my final judgment. That said, I don't get why people are going nuts over one game.

Faf - like I stated in my post - to me it does a fine job of stating what KG brought to the table defensively.

Yes - to me - it is a good authority on what a player can do - or did in his career.

I tend to have a love-hate relationship with sports blogs like this one.  Though I find the information enjoyable, I will readily admit that some people post informatively and others with knee-jerk reactions.

But let me say this: I'm very sickened when I come here and basically see the white flag being risen because we traded Kendrick Perkins away.

And even more bothersome, there are those who now want to blame our shortfalls on Nenad Krstic.  The guy is NOT Kendrick Perkins...  Yes, he is not the defensive stopper Perk was...

BUT, maybe it's time for our veterans to start playing basketball the way they can, namely KG and Rondo.

Krstic is the kind of guy who can succeed provided he he has a shot-blocker behind him.  KG can be that guy to help him.

And it would also be nice to see Rondo start caring more.  I must admit that he seems to be in a fog.  He needs to snap out of it.  The first line of great defense is not the center, but the point guard.  Rondo has skills he hasn't tapped into.  I hope the kid doesn't think he's arrived, because he hasn't.

My prediction: Rondo will be the next Celtic shipped out...  IF he doesn't get it figured out.  I like him, but not what I'm seeing out of him now.  Blame is to be shared for the Clippers loss across the board, not because Perk isn't here.

It's not about blaming Krstic, but we need to realistic about what he brings to the table.

He is not a good defender and neither is Green for that matter...They were brought in for they could add to our offense.

Many people did not like that trade off and have been pointing out how porous our defense has been. Unfortunately, we played a team capable of taking advantage of it.

Look, even Danny said we could be in trouble if Shaq and JO can't come back. So, argue all you want with the Perk supporters, the man who made the trade already knows that there is a problem on our horizon in the playoffs with our interior defense as it stands now.

We need both Shaq and JO and hopefully more and more are starting to realize that...

9/10 scal mix tapes on youtube are parodies tho. Most of them are video's of him getting 4 fouls in a minute or missing dunks or getting dissed by TA and Perk lol

Anyway, if so, I'll break the rules. If not, you'll have to deal with it. You're wrong to state Garnett was an elite shot-blocker. Elite shot-blockers block a lot more shots than Garnett ever did. If you meant he was a flashy shot-blocker, you may be right. Otherwise, you're wrong - regardless of the rules.

Garnett is an elite help/weak-side shot blocker due to his mobility. Elite overall? Not really. Does that solve this argument?
