For an inconsistent guy that cant shoot or do anything other then gamble on defense for steals, and pass to 4 hall of famers, he sure does get alot of praise.

I didn't get to watch the game this evening - just the box score, so i'm guessing this thread is reactionary to Mo Williams' night?

Anyhoo - Rondo still had 12 pts, 9 assists (only 2 TO's), 7 boards, and 3 steals tonight... If this is his production on a bad night, I'll happily take the bad with the good.

I guess in fairness it's hard to tell much about Rondo's game tonight from the box score.  He did look bad on defense, and he held the ball way too long and didn't initiate the offense.  He was very poor tonight, and if he played like this tonight, we wouldn't win nearly as much as we do.

That said, yeah, the kid is still one of the best PGs in the game.  He hasn't looked quite right lately, but he's still been pretty good (and excellent on the season as a whole).
