Veteran depth is a great thing for backup PG.  Welcome Arroyo!  i think he will do very well.  I think he can fit our system and run an offense.  we are sooo stacked right now.  20 games for everyone to gel should be perfect, and we could even start resting starters once the backups get together enough to win some games for us.

I think Arroyo will be a great part of that.

What a surprise, Ray is the only other guy there lol
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Jermaine and Arroyo are former teammates, sorry to state the obvious but haven't seen it mentioned in all of this.

I think Arroyo will be a pleasant surprise to some here at Boston. I really think that if he gets the opportunity he'll be very good for us.

Seems to be able to rise to the occasion. Likes to win. He will be playing for his ring and for his fans back home!

Can definitely see Arroyo being a decent backup PG and earning a spot in the playoff rotation. Would've been very handy to have had him in the last game when Rondo was having a rough patch and will now provide some valuable rest for him down the stretch.

I am kind of excited to see him play.  It has been so frustrating watching Bradley, and I think it can really transform this second team to have a legit PG running the show (much like the 1 game West was healthy).

Given that Delonte West is about as brittle as Jermaine O'Neal, does anyone want to make the argument that the Celtics would be better off going with Arroyo rather than West as the primary backup PG next season if they want to keep Rondo's minutes down?

He could've gone to the Spurs too, but chose to sign with us. Makes me feel good on just how attractive our team is to FA's. We would've probably landed Brewer too, if not fir the Mavs having more money.

I think he is very excited

He's gotta be pumped!!!!

I was trying to picture how this actually went down.

You're Carlos Arroyo and your cell phone rings and the voice on the other end says "Hello Carlos, This is Danny Ainge."
He must've felt like he hit the lottery.
