Add Mo Williams to the point guards I'd rather have than Rondo.

28 points last night and couldn't miss a shot!

When Rondo destroys him in the playoffs again on another team your opinion will change.

Because one game tells us more than the 6 game playoff series where Rondo and Ray Allen both destroyed Mo Williams over and over again.

Is this the first time you've ever seen them play against each other? Seriously?

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
After going to my first game in a while I wanted to give my opinion on Rondo.

1. Either he is injured, trying to rest himself for playoffs by not going 100% or not going all out because he knows he will play heavy minutes every night. He looked tired and came off of three days off.

2. He was reluctant to go to the basket even if he might get blocked if he puts a shot up he will draw the defense in and free others. I am not a huge fan of seeing him with the ball at the top of the key waiting for Ray to come off screens. From time to time he needs to get to the bucket while his defender is watching Ray. If the point guard is a threat on a play like that it makes it almost impossible for the other team to guard. He needs to be a threat to score at all times.

3. There were several times where Rondo got the ball in the back court then gave the ball to Pierce or Ray just over half court. Had he pushed the ball one of the wings could have gotten an easy bucket cutting.

4. If you are running a bunch of screens for Ray to shoot a jumper you can not start running the play with 14 seconds left on the shot clock. Get the ball up the court quicker and get into your set so that if the first option doesn't work you are resorting to a bad shooting pg taking a fade away deep two.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
lol keep dreaming man.
Rondo's one of the 3 best PG's in the league and he hasn't even reached anywhere near his potential (i'd say he's only 75% at most).
He deserves criticism but to say you'd trade him is waaaaay over the top.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
