well we can't trade him till after the season.
at that point I expect that no one will be clamoring to trade our triple double dropping, championship winning starting point guard.

38 minutes of getting pick and rolled to death gets exhausting for anyone. Let alone game after game.

Amen and a TP to that. He has played nine 40+ minutes games (out of 18 games) since January 25th.

It's amazing how quickly people forget about how well rondo played vs phoenix.

15 points, 16 assists, 3 steals..

the next night 6 points, 15 assists..

then last night he has  a bad game and all of a sudden half of you have been upset with his effort for a while and want to trade him.

laffable.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Wow, either the op was so frustrated with rondo's play on a no bearing regular season game where perhaps Rondo himself was bored and we imply to trade him??..... ??? hmmmmm

I am always a believer that Rondo just has this switch in him taht when the important games matter, he will emerge, and in the playoffs where the real season begins, we see the real Rondo.

He is just as consistent as Paul and KG, just as important to the team. I can only imagine where most of you are from, but it's probably not Boston...

*EDIT* I was agreeing with the guy I quoted :P

I'll start by saying I didn't see last nights game, but I've read enough about it, that I would have to agree with the poster. If he keeps playing like that, they should trade him.

The thing is, there is less than 0% chance that he will keep playing like that. He's leading the league in assists. I don't know exactly where he stand, but he's near the top od assists-TO ratio. The guy apprently had a bad game. He's had a few bad games, as have everyone else in the league.

I could just as easily say if LeBron keeps playing like he did yesterday the Heat should trade him.

This post is the epitome of my biggest pet peeve of arm chair GM's.  He sucks, get rid of him!  If you think he suck, then why should you expect to get someting back that doesn't suck?

I'm a big fan of the "Here's a ridiculously lopsided trade I made up that surely the other team would take because their front office is functionally retarded and hates winning basketball games.  WHY WON'T YOU MAKE MY IMAGINATION TRADE DANNY YOU ARE AWFUL!"  posts.
Tell me about it.  This is why anytime a normal (i.e., fair) trade occurs, fans are often up in arms.  You mean, we had to trade value to get value?!?

Wait, you mean Danny didn't pass on Baby, Bradley, and a 1st for Blake Griffin?  ;)
Nah man, we can't give up Baby in this trade.  Now, substitute JO or Carlos Arroyo and I think I do it.

Hey, there are at least 10 small forwards I'd rather have than LeBron right now.  Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce, Rudy Gay, Pau Gasol, Adrian Peterson, Roger Federer...the list goes on and on.

Ray had a horrible game last night too...it happens..overall though, this season Rondo has been spectacular...15assist games are just the norm now for him..

the main reason Ray, paul, KG have been having record years is because of all the easy baskets and open looks Rondo gives them..

He is at #11, just behind a bulked-up Justin Bieber.
