Don't worry - shaq and JO will be back soon to patrol the middle on D - LOL.  Bottom line though is this team is down to six real players again. They will never be healthy.
bottom line they are in serious trouble if they dont get healthy soon and by soon i mean in the next 2-3 games

You're in for some serious disappointment if you think we'll be healthy in the next 2-3 games. Maybe you meant weeks?

Celts starters are the best in the league.  But, if at least Shaq is not back within the next few weeks, I just don't think he can be counted on fo the playoffs. If he does not come back, they have no chance at 18.

My assessment of our starting lineup post-Perkins:

Our offense might be slightly better once Krstic gels.

But our rebounding, which was a problem, has just gotten worse. You can't win games when you're being outrebounded badly.

It just feels like betting on the health of one Delonte West is a worse gamble than betting on the health of two O'Neals.

i am probably the most superstitious person out there, so i really hate to put out a possible jinx.

but this reeks of a game the celtics hang around and trail through 2 1/2 - 3 quarters, then all of a sudden turn it on and churn out a win

yea, it feels like it. keeping the game within 5 points all throughout, then pulling it out with a big run down the stretch and sealing it with a key defensive stop and some Ray Allen free throws. C's win by 5 or 7.

Nothing funny about JO patrolling the middle.  One of the best interior defenders in the game.

Agree...but you can't really patrol anything sitting at home...he needs to attack his rehab like a mad dog...get back on the floor asap.

they cannot possibly keep shooting like this.

the last 4 possessions have ended in an offensive rebound for the bucks. now, not that it's ALL his fault, but i really want to take this moment to remind the pro-trade advocates that krstic is a career 7 rebounds-per-game player. seven. for a center.

Brockman doing exactly what he did in college: hitting the offensive boards like a madman.  KG and Krstic are not holding down the paint as they should.
