Well, looks like Green we'll be seeing a lot of time at the 4 spot. At least that's the silver lining in BBD's injury. We'll get to see Green gel with the first and second unit before the playoffs.

Strained patella.

What I have done to reduce the pain is pick up velcro patella straps (roughly $14 a piece) and strap them right underneath the knee cap. -- The strap has a 2 and 1/2 inch area of tube that fits right under the knee cap. The velcro is simply so that one size fits all as you strap it around the leg. -- What this does is prevent the knee cap from setting down incorrectly when relaxed, thus reducing the pain. The only additional issue is that on numerous occasions throughout the day you will need to readjust the straps because they will move or slide down the leg. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary reduction/fix.

Strained patella.

BBD likes paella too. :P

On a serious note, it didn't look bad...so, I hope he will fine in a couple of weeks.

You can be really frustrating BBD...but we need you. Be well soon.

I heard its a strained patella

Quote
My 10 year old daughter has just strained her patella tendon, landing awkwardly doing gymnast[ics. We have seen a physiotherapist, who has strapped up the knee. My daughter still finds it very painful to put any weight on the knee, and finds it hard to walk. How long will it be before she can start doing any physical activities again?

A: Depends on how severe the strain is. Likely 4-6 weeks to return to activities if it is a significant strain. Working with the physiotherapist will help speed the recovery - working on getting her walking again and then strengthening to get her back to normal

Green really will struggle at the 4 defensively. That is where Baby will be missed the most. I would not mind signing Powe; we still have two spots left.

PLEASE tell me he DID.

Despite my reservations about the new guys (Krstic, Murphy) and my thoughts on the Perk trade, I'd still rather have either one of those guys playing over BBD. Every minute BBD is off the court is a positive, in my mind.

So what about his game you don't like?

it's actually an extension of the quadraceps muscle fibers. Hopefully it's minor, because it can bear a lot of stress.

Bahku, you're a surgeon. What do you think about BBD's prognosis?

he didnt play a bad game tonight.  he had an awful game against the Jazz.  All in all, he's not a bad player or person and we need him.

the unselfishness on this team is so fantastic that when BBD makes a few obvious self serving decisions, it sticks out like a sore thumb.  He does do good things for this team though and I think a lot of people overlook that.

wishing injury for someone on your own team is really awful.  though I wont lie, I'm a redskins fan and ive been praying Albert Haynesworth would fall down a huge flight of stairs for months

Gotta love the fact that the only time Baby tries to dunk the ball is when we're up by ten with about a minute left in the game... And the extra strain hurts him... I just dont like this guy.
