I think we need a 3rd PG as West insurance.

HOWEVER:  I'm starting to wonder if the Celtics are convincing themselves that a combination of Ray, Pierce and Jeff Green can sort of do the PG thing in place of West should he hurt himself...
I wonder this because I wonder if they're hoping to get Jeff Green some more playing time somehow.....

I wonder if Sasha is a ball handler.  If he is, we might have just picked up our West insurance, which would mean the next signing would be a big and not a PG.

HOWEVER:  I'm guessing the C's feel set with bigs and add Arroyo or another PG....

thank you....

I'd much rather see Avery Bradley and Von Wafer on the court than Pavlovic.

I'd rather see Roy suit up.

Not impressed by Pavlovic at all (no offense, Roy...).

Haha.  Maybe we can start a petition to sign me as the 15th man.  I'll blog from the end of the bench.

Guys is basically insurance. He won't play much but he'll offer some defense against guys like LeBron and Kobe. I like the signing. As said before, he won't really play..

Wafer should be ahead of him in the depth chart.

Does anyone know if he's a good dresser? Because you're going to be seeing him in a suit on a regular basis.

I second those who are critiquing the complaining here.  I think some people need a reality check.

Is Pavlovic flawed?  Absolutely.  But what else do people expect from a 13th or 14th man on March 2nd?

I hope we don't see much of Pavlovic and I hope we never see him in the playoffs, but with the way this team approaches injuries (they rest a player for a week if he breaks his nail), having some depth at the 3 could ultimately pay dividends.

What happens (knock on wood) Paul or Ray rolls an ankle and misses a week or two?  Sure Green steps into the starting role, but Pavlovic could give us 10-15 minutes and hit a few shots that help us win a game.  And that could matter big time in this tight race for the #1 seed.

But you'd go bankrupt at the rate Stern would fine you :(

I like to have someone who has the potential to explode from downtown.  Eddie House brought that, and even though I don't miss Nate, he could do that.  I realize we have a few excellent 3-point shooters, but I like the idea of having that guy who can shoot in a streak and win us a game with his shot off the bench.  I guess Kapono is a no with Sasha coming.

Did Kapono even get bought out?  I didn't think he did.

You are probably correct. He has been mentioned, so I assumed.

Sasha is listed as 6'7", and sounds like someone the Bruins signed. Danny must know his game to not sign him to a 10 day contract like Mavs did. I would rather had took a run at Al Thornton, he signed with Golden State.

Yeah, Philly declined to buy him out.
