The less likely Murphy is to come here, the better I feel about Shaq and JO coming back.

Murphy's decision is mostly based on playing time.

given the injury issues between the O'Neal boys, I'd almost consider Murphy a musthave.

Well, even if he doesn't come here the sun will still shine and it won't be the end of the world.  Danny will find someone, that's for sure.

The Sun didn't stop shining during our 24 wins season either. Ofcourse, Danny can find someone for sure...I'm sure Marbury and Mikki Moore will take the next flight into Boston if DA gives them a call.

excellent work danny. trade away erden to get roster spots and you can't fill them. boston is going to sign 3 scrubs like mo peterson and dan gadsillic

How about you actually let things play out before making silly statements like this?

Because some people still want to pretend that Perk is walking through that door and Danny just traded away Bill Russell, Jr.

murphy to Miami makes a lot of sense, but if Murphy is guarding Shaq in the playoffs they are going to be in for a world of hurt, shaq will absolutely eat up Murphy .

He would be a better fit in Boston because his weaknesses wouldn't be soo exposed by playing him too many mins at Center.

So what's Miami's pitch to these guys?

"We'll be fine in the playoffs, as long as we don't have to face any quality opponents!"

"Come to Miami, work on your tan, and join in on our playoff faceplant!"

"Bring your talents to South Beach!"

"LeBron and Wade will pass you the ball, honest!"

The article is by Chris Broussard.  Isn't he like a poor man's Stephen A. Smith?

Who is left out there? Troy Murphy, Mike Bibby and every single other player who has been bought out. Not a single one of them has signed anywhere.

How about you let the players sign, before you complain about Danny "not getting anyone."

Semih has shoulder and groin injuries that will eventually require surgery. He is also dealing with family issues back home.

Frankly, I doubt he plays more than 5 games the remainder of the season. We could not have relied on him for the playoffs.

Erden is hurt and is near useless.  I have to question your ability to evaluate talent if you actually think that Erden is an important player.  When Shaq and JO get healthy, he'll never see the floor.

Boston also offers much closer proximity to New York which is where Murphy has said his friends and family are located and is where he spends his summers.

"You can start."

"You will make the difference when playing Boston"

"Boston will not appreciate you and play Shaq, Baby and JO ahead of you"

"We have lower taxes"

Still waiting for someone to point us to where anyone called Perk Bill Russell Jr.  Unreal.

Miami offers more playing time, better weather, and lower taxes.  I understand the appeal.

Boston offers the chance to be a legend.  (Well, a P.J. Brown style legend, but a legend all the same.)

And excellent chowder. That would be a big part of my pitch.

When murphy goes to miami..boston will have missed on the 1 guy they needed the most. and i will believe JO plays when I see JO play. they need to add another big and when murphy goes to miami...who is it going to be?
