No offense to you, but can someone ban him until after this whole process is over and after we know where these players land? It's honestly turning into a trollfest.

Miami offers more playing time, better weather, and lower taxes.  I understand the appeal.

Boston offers the chance to be a legend.  (Well, a P.J. Brown style legend, but a legend all the same.)

And excellent chowder. That would be a big part of my pitch.

What about that red stuff they serve in Manhattan?

Only strengthens our argument, really.

"I'd like to present you with two types of chowder, Troy. One of the chowders is delcious, the other.... not so much. Symbolic? I'll let you be the judge. All I'm here to do today is to put this contract in front of this 10 gallon jug of New England clam chowder. What you want to do from there.... - that's in your hands."

hmm I love brewer but I think he duplicates jeff green a bit. i think murphy would be better for the team but i also think that murphy is going to miami because the celtics are targeting brewer harder.

Become Legendary.

Do buyouts in the NBA work like buyouts in the NFL with the players on waivers starting with the worst team in the league?

Seriously? You want him banned because you don't like his posts? Unreal.

Actually, no. I don't mind when I have a differing opinion. When I go into practically every thread on the front page and the same poster is posting the same exact thing and being incredibly negative, then that's called TROLLING. That post was actually kind of tongue in cheek but the fact still remains. He's trolling.

With an Irish name like Murphy, how can he NOT come to Boston?

If Murphy doesn't come to Boston this year it'll be the worst thing since Darby O'Gill chose the Minnepolis Lakers over the Celtics back in the 60's.

I think this is wishful thinking by the Heat.  Most of what I read this morning was saying Celtics are in the lead.  He from the Northeast being a NJ native.

That being said I think we can still beat the HEAT even if they get Murphy.

You know what sway Murphy? Watching Miami blow a 15 point lead to the Knicks. Makes a man say, I want to be part of that. That and LeBron choking at the end. You see that and you say thats a player I want on my side.

Shaq and JO have to hold up...and be able to play more than 10 minutes each though...bit dicey...and murphy would have added a stretch 7 footer
