STEIN_LINE_HQ    Word is Lakes have NOT called for Murphy. I'm told Knicks NOT in hunt, either. I'd give Boston an edge ... except Heat making hard push now

Celts can only offer the vet min, correct? Ainge gave the full MLE to JO?

Not that Murphy needs any more money. Just wondering if anyone can offer him more.

Neither Miami nor Boston has any cap space or the MLE / LLE, so the salaries each can offer is equal.

RT @STEIN_LINE_HQ: Understated it. Not near-lock he's going East. Make it full-on lock: Murphy headed to Boston or Miami ... NO Knicks or Magic talk any more

Orlando can (LLE).  Dallas has its full MLE and LLE, and San Antonio has a partial MLE and full LLE.

Someone send the guy a jet with some pretty models and make sure the destination is Boston.

What's the deal with Miami's injury exception from Haslem?

Apparently the buyout was agreed too with Murphy promising he would go to an Eastern Conference team....Its Miami or Boston at this point...

I don't think they can use it for free-agents. Only if they plan to claim him off waivers, don't know the amount though.

Danny is not dumb...this was some inside scoop he had. Either agent, GSW or Murphy himself that passed the news on. If it happens then the trade was.

Perk, Nate, Semih, Luke for Murphy, Green, Nenad KRLE and a 1st in 2012, and two 2nds (some year) and 3 million in cash.
I assume Powe or we wait for other buyouts to pick our 2 other guys.I think Camby, or Pryz would be ideal. Murphy, Camby, and Brewer would be perfect to me.

Do you all agree they are good trades?

He's expected back, but that doesn't change the expiration date.  It expired on January 6.
