Wonder if KG will make Jeff Green cry like he did Big Baby?

I doubt this kid has seen intensity like this team can bring.

I think hes in for a rude awakening.  He's either going to buy in or be Patrick O'Bryant.  KG did a great job on Semih I thought, probably another reason he isnt happy about these trades.

Please

Patrick O'Bryant?

This kid has all-star talent, he was playing out of his natural SF position for the majority of games. He will be backing up PP and only playing PF when the matchup is favorable , he can match up very well against PF's like Bosh, Stoudamire ,Taj Gibson

You had me until you said Stoudamire. He can't cover Stat. Garnett can't cover Stat. Keep it real.

haha true, but at least he can match up with Melo and Lebron/bosh
odom/artest when PP and KG need rest

Just a question, those of you who don't like the trade... aren't you at least a bit excited after seeing this guys in Green?

I can't wait to see it. Rondo and Green together seems like a good combo. Defense and fast breaks!

I hope Krstic shaves his head, we dont allow goofs on this Celtics team.

KG better get through to him.

He'll be fine in the role we need him for, but how do you say he has allstar talent?  He was never an allstar and maybe never will.  Avery Bradley is an amazing athlete.  Does he have allstar talent?

Yeah, I don't think Jeff Green has all-star talent.  He's in that Travis Outlaw/Thaddeus Young zone of intriguing tweeners who are useful but don't bring as much to the table as their size, athleticism and skill level would lead you to hope for.

As such he's kind of stuck in between legit perimeter tweeners like Tayshaun Prince and legit athletic 4s like Josh Smith and Shawn Marion.

Still, with that post game and passing ability (something guys like Outlaw don't have) I think he could definitely become a more effective player than he is currently.
