Wonder if KG will make Jeff Green cry like he did Big Baby?

I doubt this kid has seen intensity like this team can bring.

I think hes in for a rude awakening.  He's either going to buy in or be Patrick O'Bryant.  KG did a great job on Semih I thought, probably another reason he isnt happy about these trades.

Please

Patrick O'Bryant?

This kid has all-star talent, he was playing out of his natural SF position for the majority of games. He will be backing up PP and only playing PF when the matchup is favorable , he can match up very well against PF's like Bosh, Stoudamire ,Taj Gibson

I don't think there is any rude awakening coming. Both of these guys are veterans, even though they are young (Green 24 and Kristic 27). They've played against KG and seen how he interacts with foes and his own players alike and the standards he holds his teammates to.

By all accounts, Green was a model citizen in OKC. He came to play every night, missing only 6 games in 4 years, sacrificing his own game to Durant and Westbrook's. He will fit right in and thrive under KG's tutelage and Rondo's feeds and the Celtics ball-sharing philosophy.

Kristic should benefit the same way. And, except for the chair-throwing incident against Greece, seems like a solid citizen-team guy too who waited for the leftovers from Durant and Westbrook.

I think many of us will be surprised at how these guys will play in our system.

He'll be fine in the role we need him for, but how do you say he has allstar talent?  He was never an allstar and maybe never will.  Avery Bradley is an amazing athlete.  Does he have allstar talent?

Ok that was a little to harsh of a comparison.  I guess I meant POB did not buy into the system, and i see that (worst case senerio) possibly happening with Kristic.  But he's a vet and played around KG before so I think he'll be smart enough (and talented enough) to be a factor on this team.

Yeah, I think KG respects Green, ever since Green nailed those two crunch time 3s to put us away a few years ago.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

POB bought into the system, he simply sucked and was lazy. He didn't know how to play the game. Krstic is no amateur.

please don't compare Green a #5 overall pick who has averaged 15 and 5 (playing out of position at PF) and is a pretty good 3pt shooter for his career at 34% to avery Bradley.

He suffered from playing out of position and in an iso dominated offense with Waestbrook and Durant. He was basically a spot up shooter in their offense .

As PP's backup the C's will have the ability to run the second unit's offense through Green at times because he can postup the 2nd stringers he will be facing and just about any other SF not named Lebron(though he is capable of matching up with Lebron on D) . That is a big strength of his game that was highly underutilized because he was always playing PF.

When he plays PF here he will stretch the floor and will only play against guys he can match up with, Not Pau Gasol.

Green will love Rondo in transition because he will get him the ball if he runs and is open. Not to mention we have a bunch of HOF players around green who will all attract the defenders allowing Green to get open looks  all day. The whole team is full of good-great passers.

He has all-star talent IMO

You had me until you said Stoudamire. He can't cover Stat. Garnett can't cover Stat. Keep it real.
