He's an excellent rebounder, he has good size. His defence is good.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Goes with the theme of recycling former players.

Dude's a scrub who's career highlight is being on the floor when Tony Allen threw an ally-oop to Gerald Green off the backboard.

No ... do not sign him, he's a classic under-achiever, and he has no place wearing green.

I don't think he can be signed, he's playing in China.

I think Chris Johnson isn't any worse as an end of bench player. Similar players, but Johnson is faster and quicker and blocks shots, has a higher work rate; Jones is an one trick ponny, he rebounds. Actually it's pretty amazing how Jones game hasn't improved a bit since he played for Boston... it was what, 5 or 6 years ago?

He would need to be bought out from his CBA contract. Troy Murphy and Powe are much better fits for this team.

Chris Johnson is much, much better than Dwayne Jones -- he actually has one NBA-caliber skill.

How is exactly is Chris Johnson useful to an NBA roster?

It seems like people here are blinded by his pretty dunking ability, but besides that he's a 200 lb 7 footer with no useful skill set for the NBA game.

I'm not saying Dwayne Jones is going to be starting for us, but as a semih replacement he's perfect. Someone who can rebound well, play solid D and sets good screens? What more can you ask for.

I didn't know he was an underachiever, he was an undrafted bigman who managed to play a game in the nba every year since 2005-06. That's pretty impressive imo for a journeyman.

People probably think Chris Johnson is some kind of guy with "potential" but in reality the guy is 25 already and weighs as much as a pg. I can confidently say that Dwayne Jones would help this team much more than Chris Johnson can.

Chris Johnson
6"11
25 years old
210 lbs
2 games in the nba in his career
8 minutes per game average
2 points per game average
2 rebounds per game average
33.3% fg

Not trying to bash Chris Johnson, but if you're using career resume's then we should dismiss him too.

You can't measure a 15th man's value from his stats. Of course they're going to be garbage, Heck look at Kendrick Perkins stat line, if we are using that logic..statwise he's a below average center.
