except, unlike Leon, he doesn't have a history of knee surgeries. I would keep him. We need size on the bench, and honestly, who else are we going to get that doesn't have a history of behavioral issues?

Great article indeed. I think we should keep Chris Johnson for the rest of the season, obviously his game is flawed but he is athletic and seems to have a good mental (i.e he could really help if called upon a situation of emergency).

Nics article and good story about the kid. I'd like to keep him,too.

However, given DWest's fragility and how the offense comes to a grinding halt when Bradley is at the point (east/west vs north/south, get rid of the ball like it's a hot potato, weak passer)we need DWest insurance in the form a a 3rd string pg.

Antonio Daniels, Arroyo, somebody with a semblance of a handle for 6-10 minutes a game when RR is resting.

I'd like to see us keep him for another 10 day contract. But I also agree we need another back up point guard. I'm not as down on Bradley as some are, I actually think he's doing very, very well as a 19 year old rookie with one year of college experience. But therein lies the rub, if DWest or RR miss a few games, you're looking at Bradley as your back up...

Can we erven sign another player at this point? I thought everyone's playoff roster had to be finalised by 11:59pm, March 1st.

Lastly, Ainge says the Johnson kid can really shoot it, I'm wondering, with his spped and length, if he could play a little small forward. I think he could pull it off defensively.

  I'd cut him if I found anyone better for that roster spot but I'd try and sign him to a non-guaranteed deal as soon as the season ended and try and get him to spend the summer with the strength and conditioning guys.

He's 20 and he really belongs in college, doesn't he?  I guess he made a mistake in choice of school, with the coach's system not fitting his play, but he really needed another year or two.

Not surprised.  If Shaq (and possibly JO) are on their way back, there really is no need for him.  I think Murphy is going to have a hard enough time sniffing the floor in a few weeks as it is. 

I really think the C's might be targeting Arroyo.  And I approve.  He's far from perfect, but would be a very, very competent 3rd string point guard.

CJ got a bright future ahead of him. He came did his part however minute. Other teams are watching and will see that as a plus. Hopefully he can catch on with another team.
