That account wasn't fake, I won tickets from him and had to pick them up at the box office and they where under Semihs name and mine. I also won them from JO!

Yeah, if this was a fake account, it was an extremely successful one. It had lots of media people (including national media, Globe&Herald, Celticsblog), players (including Erden's teammates) and even the Celtics official tweet account amongst its followers.

Interesting.. If all was legitimate, this could of potentially been the type of thing to ruin a trade. So I can conceivably see team management asking Semih to delete the post (Or account, whatever.)

I'm 50/50 on this being legit. Can't wait to see which side of the coin this rumor lands on, though.

Gotta look at the bigger picture.. Semih hardly plays now, he won't sniff playoff minutes. Plus, we might be getting Murphy in the very near future as well. Glen Davis can fill in at center for a game or two.

I always felt Erden would be traded if we received bad results on Daniels, Ainge was unsuccessful in obtaining a swingman for cheap, and if we had very good confirmation that we would sign a big via buyout (Murphy).

Ughh. No Sheed please. I highly doubt he is in shape right now, and this time around he doesn't have the whole regular season to get into shape. He gave us everything he had in the finals last year and I think we should be grateful and leave it at that.

If we can pick up Troy for cheap I am down, especially if we have to trade away Semih  :'(

If Ainge is confident that the O'Neals are healthy for the playoffs, or at least one of them, I doubt he'd hesitate in trading Erden, regardless of where Murphy is going. Erden is an end of bench player, the only way he sees playoff minutes is if both O'Neals are out - and even in that case it'd only be situational minutes, when someone gets in foul trouble and stuff like that. No way he makes the regular playoff rotation.

In that scenario where Boston has guaranties they'll land Troy Murphy, he'd probably shop Glen Davis, not Erden.
