I had this idea after the Nate Robinson to GS rumor popped up. It works on the trade machine (
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine, I used Monta in place of Murphy because he is not on the Warriors' roster yet on the machine, but he makes 1 million more than Monta).
Knowing that the team's needs are as follows : Boston wants a wing and a big man. GS wants a big man and some help on the wing/guard. Phoenix wants to get rid of Childress and doesn't mind moving Pietrus because it will still have Hill/Dudley/Carter after. So here it is :
Boston trades Nate Robinson, Jermaine O'Neal, Avery Bradley, Marquis Daniels, Semih Erden.
Boston gets : Troy Murphy, Mike Pietrus.Golden State trades : Troy Murphy, V. Radmanovic.
Golden State gets : Childress, Nate Robinson, Jermaine O'Neal (expires next year).Phoenix trades : Josh Childress, Mike Pietrus.
Phoenix gets : Bradley, Erden, Radmanovic (expiring), Daniels (expiring). What do you think? To me the only "no thanks" would come from GS because of JO's contract or Childress's (6,5 million per year for 6 years) but I could see them doing it because they know they won't attract anybody in free-agency.
Edit : well of course the minute I post this thread the rumor is shut down... "Source says Nate Robinson will not be coming to the Warriors. Never discovered the other pieces, but that deal w/ Boston is not going down."
