Would Howard preferr playing alongside Rondo or Deron ?
Boston or New York ?

Nets did a great move for ther franchise, Melo to Nets wasn't a good deal, Deron however could sig an extension the same year they move in to their new building in Brooklyn and get Howard as well.
Next year they could sign Kirilenko as a FA.

The Nets just acquired the 1998 version of Jason Kidd.

you put Deron and Sasha together, wow, Sasha will surely average 30 ppg now =)

I just hope that Avery doesn't shy away from his very Machine-centric offense. KEEP RUNNING HIM OFF THE PICKS, AVERY!

Just shocking, and man is the East getting sickly stacked. Boston, Miami, Chicago, Orlando with NY and NJ on the rise.

we have no shot at D12 now, IMO... I love Rondo, but D.Will is better. D12 wants a bigger market, he can play in NY... it's just... I'm bummed now, man. lol
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Jaw-dropping stuff,no one expected that one, I really don't see who benefits from this trade.

If anything, Howard might go with the better passer (who would be more likely to get Dwight the ball as well).

I am not sure who is the better passer though.  They are two of the best in the league.

Wow...[dang it].

If the east wasn´t already better than the West, it definitely is now.

EDIT: I love the new censoring system on CB. Kudos to whoever thought of it. Almost makes me want to include some insults in my posts, just to see how the words get changed.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Also, it's unclear either NY teams will have the money for him.

I don't think Deron is the best passer or ballhandler you'll see.

Not just to be a homer, but if I'm D12 I think I'd rather be paired with Rondo - significantly better in transition.

Eh, the more I thinka bout it the more I lean the other way. Just based on the PG, I think you'd be a better pair w/ Deron. His scoring ability is hugely beneficial, and the FT shooting between Rondo & Howard could be a legit issue.

New Jersey Nets

PG - Deron Williams, Jordan Farmar and Ben Uzoh
SG - Anthony Morrow, Sasha Vujacic and Quinton Ross
SF - Travis Outlaw, Damion James, Stephen Graham
PF - Kris Humphries, Brandon Wright
C - Brook Lopez, Johan Petro and Dan Gadzuric

Is that their new look team?

Not enough talent around Deron Williams or Brook Lopez to be anything more than a lower seed playoff team.

If New Jersey doesn't make another move in the next 18 months, they might have a tough time holding onto Deron Williams in that 2012 free agency.

Still a terrible team... I feel bad for Deron.
