If that ever happens, I think it elevates them above any of the other SuperFriends squads.  Having a dominant point guard, dominant wing, and dominant big man would be pretty much unstoppable.

You dont think Deron or CP3 Signing in NY would be better, thats also a dominant pg, wing and big?

I think Durant is better than Carmelo, and Griffin is better than Amare, in my opinion.  Amare is a great player, but he's a pretty mediocre rebounder.

True and i suppose we are talking far enough down the road that Westbrook may develop a jumpshot

Oh yeah, and a defensive center, lockdown defensive 2 guard all in their primes?

Yikes.

Westbrook is pretty dominant without a jumpshot.

I think I agree here. Durant is better, younger, and more explosive than Melo. If Griffin keeps improvinf he will be better than Amare, plus younger, and Westbrook is pretty dominant... Imagine Westbrook, Durant, and Griffin coming at you on the fast break? Holy wow.

It won't happen.  But I am intrigued by the rumor that Nene is interested in going to OKC.  I'd like him on that team.

Or perhaps, he would rather be in the bright lights of the big city...

Time will tell...

absolutely scary... Even scarier? Donald Sterling will find some way to botch any promising relationship with Griffin & the Clips organization. Griffin'll probably be so disgruntled by the end of his rookie contract that this is more of a possibility than we all think at this point.

And you know what? I'd love every second of it - OKC are my 2nd favorite team in the NBA... No one will ever replace the C's in my heart though, don't worry.

There has never been a large market all-star that left for a small market team while in his prime. It won't happen for 12 years if it ever does.

Absolutely

5 years later they just have to convince an aging salary cutted Dwight Howard  to join them , ageless formol conservated Ray Allen to be a player coach. and being backup by aging Kobe who will be looking for more rings at half the price.

I know I ruin the dream for you with that last player..lol
