Entertaining game.

U really thought so?  I thought it was pretty horrible IMO.  I guess this year just puts the frosting on the cake and I'm not really into All-Star games anymore.  

I had really low expectation...so, for me, it was entertaining in the end. You had higher expectations, I guess.

I really didn't come away with that Wow factor this year. I thought some of the dunks were alright. Still don't think anyone has topped Gerald Green from a few years ago. Some of the best dunks ive seen in a dunk contest. umm yeah just wasn't all that excited about it. Ready for the season to kick back into gear and get some wins and title 18

Bosh Spice shot well, but as usual played soft and couldnt get a [dang] rebound to save his life, then chucks up a stupid 3 to seal the fate of the game. Lebron was nasty, it felt kinda weird/cool to be able to root for him for once. And i love how the east got way better as soon as dwade got out. If ray had gotten some more minutes instead of rose and wade we woulda won this game.

Is there really any question that LeBron is way better than Derrick Rose and still deserves the MVP award?

The league MVP shouldn't be a footnote in the All-Star game.

It depends on how you define MVP. If it truly means most valuable player, then Rose is it. The Bulls would be a borderline playoff team without him.

I'd argue the Heat would be a lot worse without LeBron, too.  I think the MVP award should take into consideration what a player does that is irreplaceable.  Derrick Rose does a lot for the Bulls, but there are a number of other point guards you could put in his place who could probably carry the Bulls just as well or nearly as well (Russell Westbrook comes to mind - he's very similar).

Nobody in the league can do for their team what LeBron does.  Nobody impacts the game to the degree that he does.
