Is there really any question that LeBron is way better than Derrick Rose and still deserves the MVP award?
The league MVP shouldn't be a footnote in the All-Star game.
It depends on how you define MVP. If it truly means most valuable player, then Rose is it. The Bulls would be a borderline playoff team without him.
Borderline playoff team is pretty generous... they'd be a lottery team with no Derrick Rose. In that sense, Rose is definitely the MVP favorite. LBJ def does a lot for the Heat, but they wouldn't be lost without him.
Heck, they may have actually been able to use the money earmarked for him to go get a legit defensive center to better compliment Bosh/Wade. I'm joking, btw... Sort of...
