which SF FAs do you like?

Assuming Quis is done for the season, and leaving aside trade proposals, which SF free agents do you like?

Two names that jump out are Ime Udoka and Bobby Simmons.  Carney was on that list until Weds (?) when he signed a 10 day contract with Memphis.

Carney was the only interesting player. Good wing defender.

Of the rest, maybe Udoka is the best option available... but I don't think he's a rotation player any more. If Quis is done for the season, Ainge will probably try a trade.

If a free-agent needs to be picked up, the best option out there is probably Othyus Jeffers.

PS - In regards to Simmons, he looked done when he played for San Antonio earlier in the season. Popovich used him exclusively at the 4, actually. No quickness to play the perimeter. He can't help.

The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard Othyus Jeffers of the Iowa Energy, the NBA D-League team announced on Friday.

Jeffers is expected to join the Spurs Friday, and should be available when they host the Miami Heat Friday night at 8:30 p.m

Smart decision by San Antonio's FO. Hopefully he sticks with them.
