Who are we considering young players? I believe Baby, West and Von Wafer could start in this league on certain teams. Also, based on his play, what evidence have you seen that Avery Brady could be a starter?

To me with standard improvement in the next 3 years Semih on a bad team or a team that doesn't need a dominate center.  Bradley sputtered so badly and looked so lost that he has to prove to be an nba player BEFORE I could think of him as a starter.
Wait  >:(  was this a trick question and the answer is Rajon Rondo?

Semi could start for Miami.

That Rondo kid could be pretty good if he ever added a jump shot.  Until then, I'd rather have Telfair.

I didn't think Rondo was included in this debate since he's already a starter on a championship team.

Rondo and Perk are the only real starters.

Baby could do it on a bad team.

Yeah, pretty much.

I think Semih has a chance to develop into a starter as well, although more likely he will just become a solid bench big man.

Davis can certainly spot start, but if he is the regular starter on your team, you are most likely not very good.

Bradley seems like too much of a tweener.  Even if he improves a lot, I never see him as being able to handle the point full time, and he is too small to be a full time shooting guard.  So, I think his ideal role would be as a combo guard off the bench.

I am hoping none for the Celtics.

I want them to be lifetime backups on the Celtics.  That would mean the Celtics still have a strong starter in front of them.

Bradley has the "potential" but he also has could be out of the league in a few years.  In fact, if I had to choose between out of the league or a starter, I'd put my money on out of the league for Bradley.  He simply does not have the game he needs to flourish and is a long way from it.

Apparently Semi...he's the young player who has started the most this season, it seems.

And let's not forget that Delonte started regularly in Cleveland, and still has a lot of career left (if he can get past this..er..fragile season of his life).

Rondo and Perk.  That's it, for guys who can definitely start on a good team.

Bradley could become a starter, but he has a ways to go on the offensive end.  BBD can be a starter, but the fit would have to be perfect for him to be successful.

I think Semih can develop into a decent bench center, but I don't envision him as a starter.

EDIT:  Should have read the thread.  Onslaught said something very similar.
