I can't seem to find a lot of information about the big men. What specifically are the injuries to Shaq and Semih?

Semih has been an extremely pleasant surprise up to this point this season. My thoughts could certainly be a result of the lack of info regarding his injury, but I think he's really letting the team down by sitting these games out (assuming he has any say in the matter. If he doesn't, then the organization is really putting Perk in danger by keeping Semih out).

We would have beaten LA Thursday night if Semih had been able to give us 5-10 minutes and keep Perk a little fresher. This may sound harsh, but I honestly don't care if he isn't feeling great. Once the playoffs get here, our big man rotation will be Perk/Shaq at center, and KG/Baby at PF. JO - if he's healthy - or Rasheed will be our 5th big. In other words, if Semih is playing any thing more than garbage minutes for us in the playoffs, we aren't winning #18. So, Semih's role is to do whatever it takes to help us win RIGHT NOW while Shaq and JO heal up in order to give us the best seed possible. Scal did an outstanding job of this in '08 - he wasn't even active during the playoffs, but he was key in several regular season victories that enabled us to get homecourt throughout the playoffs.

If Semih has a serious injury that prevents him from giving us 5-10 minutes tomorrow, then the team needs to tell us that. Otherwise, we're running Perk into the ground, and Perk is clearly more valuable to us than Semih. The Shaq, Delonte, and Quis injuries clearly don't help. But just by having Semih out there for 5-10 minutes a game, we could still win these games while those other guys heal up.
