Paul Pierce had 1 point lol.

This is the worst ive seen Pierce play, EVER. He must still have the Flu.

Same here.

But The Truth is always there, and he'll come back strong!

People asking for his trade, shame on you!
The Celtic in me.

I am here because I love Shaq but I hate the Celtics. The Celtics are just a better TEAM in all the games with Miami this year.

Miami is my team but those  turnovers and that horrible 3rd quarter lost this game.

If I am Boston, I am somewhat worried that you had such an amazing 3rd quarter and barely won this game.

Keep in mind, I still think down the stretch the Heat will take sole possession of the first seed and regular season games don't mean anything in a playoff series.

  • GOT IT!!!
There is NO doubt that Boston owns MIA.

Our first win vs MIA? "Well, MIA just got put together."

2nd Win? "Well, Ray Allen went off. We'll shut him down next time."

3rd Time? Pierce 0-10? No Delonte/Shaq/Marquis/Semih/JO?

What excuses now, MIA?

And that missed free throw by Lebron will haunt him for a while.

They really have no argument after this one. C's were COLD in the 4th and still pulled it out.

Pierce had a poor game.  Good to very good defensively, but extremely poor offensively.

Only a poor game if shooting is your only measure. he laid an egg but still contributed. while fighting the flu.

The defense against LeBron and Wade today was absolutely spectacular.

The help defense offered against them especially.

Completely agree.  Does anybody disagree that Perk is the hero today?  even with Rondo's trip double?

Yup, great game defensively by the C's.

Wade took 17 shots to get 16 points and had 6 TOs
LeBron took 21 shots to get 22 points and had 4 TOs

They also only gave up 8 free throws combined to Wade/LeBron.

Wafer is paying dividends like his game when is on he is on. Continue to tighten that defense he'll be something to wreckin with.

We shot like crap and had David Stern's dirty ref piling on us with phantom fouls on KG but we pulled it out.  Thankfully LeBron choked on one of those FTs!

PP is a bully as a player.  He can overpower most guys but not LeBron.  I think its this that gives him trouble against James not LeBron's defensive prowess.  He can't overpower him and James is bigger than him so it gives him problems.

Ray and Paul both shot poorly down the stretch today.  But their D was good.  I thought Perk and Rondo both played decent.  KG was good offensively.

Phew!!! Just sat back down after victory dance ..
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

It's amazing how everyone was saying today would be brutal, a bloodbath even. At halftime, people were sayin that game was over already. And we still win?

Really, Boston needs to adopt Miami's "Fan Up" campaign asap.

Perk played well, but KG/Baby put the clamps on defensively down the stretch.

KG and Rondo my co-MVPs for this game.

Well, Andrew - I'd be worried if I were MIA.

No Delonte/Shaq/Semih/JO/Marquis today?

Paul recovering from the flu and playing like it (0-10)?

And we STILL win?

Even if Boston loses regular season lead in wins...MIA can't beat Boston, even in the playoffs...they will find a way to lose (Lebron).....and they cannot solve this Vaunted Celtics Defense.....

Very impressive to beat the Heat with barely 7 rotation players. Looking forward to trash them in the playoffs.
