This is terrible, we need to trade PP.  He can't do it against good teams anymore..

wow.  is it possible to suspend people from the blog?

Maybe just an anti-TP, and when you get to -25, you're IP banned.

PP is having a fantastic year. Some people just can't see past one game though, I guess.

you know?  I mean, nothing personal to the guy, but I mean Paul Pierce has come up HUGE for us so many times in his career.  Hes allowed to have a stinker every now and then, especially when covering the most talented player in the game right now and being defended by the best wing defender in the game.

Ain't no HEAT this time of year in BOSTON...BABY..!

I'll take some heat to melt some of this [dang] snow though.

It will ALL be gone...in JULY...right after we win the CHAMPIONSHIP...!

Well I don't agree with a suspension for that I was also hoping that the  original comment was an over-the-top demonstration of the fickle, exagerating, absurd all or nothing, black or white, no grey comments that are all too common. I still hope it was so. Well played pointing out the absurdity of those absolutes, but maybe it wasn't....merely the apotheosis of that genre.

Your are absolutely correct sir. ;)

He must still have the Flu.

Sherrod Blakely had mentioned this in the first or second quarter...PP is still under the weather and not feeling well.

we got veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery lucky. Waaay very lucky.

Anyway: go C's!!!!!!!

Disagree. Defense all afternoon long kept this game in our grasp.

They set up a nice play at the end: if we go to OT, it's dark night. I'm referring to that.
The Celtic in me.

There is NO doubt that Boston owns MIA.

Our first win vs MIA? "Well, MIA just got put together."

2nd Win? "Well, Ray Allen went off. We'll shut him down next time."

3rd Time? Pierce 0-10? No Delonte/Shaq/Marquis/Semih/JO?

What excuses now, MIA?

And that missed free throw by Lebron will haunt him for a while.

Take that, ESPN. And to all the Debbie Downers out there:
NEVER count these Celtics out. NEVER. Woohoo!

Just in case anyone missed this.  And PP shows you have have a good game without ascoring

Pierce had a poor game.  Good to very good defensively, but extremely poor offensively.

I will never count out the Celtics.  They may have everything going against them, but I'll never ever bet against them.  (Maybe it's a good thing I don't actually bet :)

TP.

You can never count this team out!  No matter what!

I hope over Celtic fans realize that now.

pierce's defense on LBJ and his rebounding was key and inspiring. he did all the other things today and they wouldn't have won without him

The defense against LeBron and Wade today was absolutely spectacular.

The help defense offered against them especially.
