Bad finish to the half.

I fear the C's are running out of gas.

Down by only four with Pierce 0-7? I'll take it.

Not sure how much we can expect from Pierce today, though. He doesn't look like himself.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Pierce is killing this team.  He needs to sit out the rest of this game.
You are joking, right? and if not, who guards Libby?
I'd rather Lebron get his before I play 4 on 5 on offense.  Every time Pierce shoots is the same thing as a turnover today.  It's amazing they're only down 4.

Pierce so bad. Stop taking threes. Just awful. The captain did all he could to kill this team in the first half. Something I going to happen in the second half today that happened Thursday night. Good effort by everyone but pierce in first half. Awful and stupid basketball by pierce

I fear this is gonna be a painful second half.

They had 8 (eight!) turnovers and are still up by four.

...looking bad..  ::)
The Celtic in me.

Pierce is one of those players who can play a great game and make an impact without scoring.

Down 4 at the half with Pierce invisible and killing us and Rondo very discreet too... these two have to step up in the 2nd half.

Rondo so passive again.  Why?

He's driving to pass like always, attacking defensively and crashing the boards.

The offense is breaking down because Miami has had a block party on the interior and Pierce has been shooting blanks.

Pierce been taking good shots. i think they'll fall in the second half.

what i wondered, after Rondo got a stiff shoulder in the fast break, is why we Celtics don't start fouling people hard? i mean, we have BBD and Perk (and Shaq)! those guys are huge! If we're gonna get a foul called on us, which often happens, why don't we knock their guys to the ground with legitimate contact, similar to what happens to Rondo?
