i expect a beat down in the second half by the heat. esp. with PP MIA

I hate to agree, if we dont do a 180 on offense we are going to get beat up. Miami isn't going to play that badly in the second half , i know that for a fact.

Paul and rondo need to drive or they should just stay in the locker room.

can't afford a poor start to the second half like they did vs the lakers...though i fear boston has nothing left...even after 2 full days off. hope i am wrong

we need to get ray more shots. i trust him more than baby and PP shooting the outside jumper

I think were all playing BAD aside from Ray, why does KG all of a sudden have no lift?

Pierce looks 60 yrs old again, and Rondo is just standing around he can burn Chalmers off the dribble at will what's going on out there? >:(

Yeah I know huh broham. This is so frustrating.

Ray forced a few shots and missed them, only one he made was his open 3 right? Most of his points have been quick layups or drives. This is a mess, we really need to get going ...

Wish they could trade nate at halftime. He stinks.

I disagree with you. Look at how well he played when he was with the starters. The bench as currently constructed because of injuries doesn't gel very well. Will be happy times again with Delonte back.

As for rondo blowing by Chalmers--maybe so but MIA is packing the middle so where does he go from there? Expectations are not in synch with possibilities. What the club needs is more of those back-door plays where they catch the Manatees over rotating.

Pierce 0-7, the celtics with practically no bench, and the Heat are inly up 4 and can barely score 40 in a half? I like it.

LeBron is just playing possum like Kobe the other night facilitating, then in the second half mainly fourth quarter he's going to go off. Ugh.

I'd like to see Rondo post up during the second half.

House definitely can't guard him down there and I don't think Chalmers can either.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Tony Allen was a super frustrating guy to watch and was crazy inconsistent....but he was made for a game like this. Energy, defense, dribble penetration.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I think their whole team was playing possum somewhat. They know the C's will have tired legs in the second half.

Yupp, and we have no reponse to that since by the 4th we will have a paul pierce who can barely breathe. This is the way these top teams are going to overcome us. Get everyone else to score in the first 3, and send their closer in at the 4th. We don't have that dominance, or style of play. Such a shame.
