Perkins is killing our offense. I still think JO can be a major help to this team if he can give some minutes by the playoffs.

They just look so disinterested right now...

And the Heat's defense isn't even necessarily that impressive

This is just all missed jump shots right now

James Jones absolutely cannot defend Glen Davis.

Post up BBD repeatedly.

You have to be kidding me. 15 points in the first quarter. Yay Avery Bradley. Going to be very very ugly today.

Good chance for Rondo to get going. House can't defend him one-on-one and Miami are small in the paint.

He can get into the lane and do a huge amount of damage there against this lineup.

I just can't stand Rondo when he runs cheap offense like the last one
The Celtic in me.

boston just standing around on offense and then chucking up a brick. paul pierce looks like he is hurt of something. he hasn't been good since the game at LA

Only down 5 points ... not so bad considering how poorly the Celtics have started.

Hopefully, they'll pick it up in the second quarter.

God bless Perk, but lordy, how can he have been in the league this long on still be such a lummox? Perk and Rondo together limits Celtic options with the ball.

Agreed. It's 3 on 5 with Rondo and Perk out there. Hopefully Shaq gets healthy and regains the starting spot, because Perk doesn't make a big enough difference on defense to make up for his useless play on the offensive end. Rondo is just flat out disappointing right now.

Hope you are right, but with this bench I have huge doubts.

  • Thank you Eddie!
Offense looks dead tired, the bench should come in to give us a spark.  Oh, wait, I forgot, we have literally nobody left on the bench except for BBD and Von Wafer, who has probably been saying to himself "I'm glad I made the team, but I thought I'd be at the end of the bench.  I never thought I'd actually play before garbage time in these games."
"If David Stern ran the NHL, is there any chance his meal ticket's team would blow a Game 7 in Round 1? Put a pair of skates on Dick Bavetta!" -Bill Simmons
