there is rumors that celtics are looking to trade Nate Robinson, Jermaine O'neal, Von Wafer, and 2nd round pick for Rip or Prince.

There weren't rumors until you just started one. One that makes no sense for the Pistons.

Don't see this happening. Hamilton is not a SF and the Celtics won't take on 3 years of salary at $12.5 million per year.

I wish Danny signed Ben Wallace instead of J.O.

who would be our backup pg? rookie bradley? or are we just letting delonte & rip be our backup gurds?

& i guess i'd hope they buyout 1 of the 3 preferebly nate &/or j.o

When Delonte comes back he's our backup pg, not Nate.

Eh I have my doubts on that. He played SG before he hurt his wrist.

I didn't bother looking it up, but I'm pretty sure the numbers don't even match so it's not possible and this is a false rumor.

Rip makes over $10m, and Prince is not too far behind that.  The players you mentioned would add up to $11-13m; probably only enough to match Rip.

BenWallace,Rip and Will Bynum
for
Nate,Quis,JO,Bradley and Wafer

Detroit can buyout JO if need be. Rip finally gets playing time at the wing. They also save a 3rd year on RIp and Bynum.

West comes back to play SG next to Bynum. We keep BBD to play next to Shaq/BigBen/Semih/Sheed/JO whoever

Rondo,Bynum
Ray,West
Pierce,RIP
KG,BBD,Luke, Jo/Sheed/Antoine lol
Perk,Shaq,Ben,Semih

IMO  the trade is as good as it gets for Detroit including draft picks, cash and a sandwich. And for us the only chemistry that would really change is backup PG. Nate has been inconsistent and boneheaded. Bynum is "slightly" taller but explodes to the rim more often and can still hit the 3, but passes more. RIP would fit right in being as great as he is moving without the ball and catching passes for open shots 10-20mpg. And he could earn 6th man considerations fast.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Eh I have my doubts on that. He played SG before he hurt his wrist.

He ran the offense and just guarded the other teams SG. He was only the off guard with Rondo on the floor.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I am totally surprised at the number of responses to a topic that has no link, has bad grammar, and is created by a first-time poster. While I agree that a trade with Detroit makes sense for several reasons, I don't think there are any official rumors out there (beside blogger created ones).
