Sounds like a good deal to me.  Perfect.

I wouldn't mind Terrence either, but I know Lee has been in the finals can guard people like Kobe and Lebron and can knock down the open 3.

Sasha Pavlovic, if Hornets will not give him another 10-day contract, but.... we don't have roster spot.

I would LOVE Terrence Williams, I think hes a player, plus him and Rondo on the break would be awesome, but in what seems more realistic, what would it take for us to call up Deshawn Sims from the D League? could we do that? I loved his game in the summer league and i believe hes a D League all star this year.  I wanted us to sign him at the start of the year. I think nows a better time than any to try and make it happen.

Terrence Williams is still considered a prospect; he would not come that cheap in a trade.

Jermaine and Avery Bradley w/ a second round draft pick for Shane Battier. Houston owes it to him to put him in a situation where he has a shot at a championship.

Houston also owes it to Houston to actually get good value for a player that every contender would love to have.  Jermaine's contract has negative value at this point, and Bradley has little to no value himself.  At the very least, they will be able to get an expiring contract and a first round pick for Battier.

Jermaine's gotta retire, he's bone on bone in that knee, so there's the expiring/retiring contract (remember all the hype with Sheed's contract over the offseason?) Avery Bradley's got good potential that we just don't need right now, but that they could use. And we can change that pick from a second rounder to a first rounder.

Luke Harangody to New Jersey for Quinton Ross!

Straight up deal.

Ross is a solid player. 6-6 same size as Quis
Above average defender, decent offensively.
A very solid NBA pro.

For Luke Harangody i think this is good value.

Word for Word (player description from Hoopshype.com)
"Good defensive player....Excels in the open court
Good Rebounder for his size...Doesn't score much"

Whatever we do we cant overplay Paul Pierce. I would pick someone up 10 day contract and immediatly give him burn.
He will either be able to contribute or not. If not sign someone else and give him run.

Dont fall into the trap of wearing down Pierce to win regular season games. We may have to concede 1st to Miami just to give our older guys needed rest.

That is taking a HUGE leap.  Has there been any indication at all that he has any interest in retiring?  Also, why would he just leave the money on the table to retire?  He can just "struggle" to come back for another year, collect another $6+ million, and then retire after.

While Bradley has some potential, he is not worth much in a trade.  He has looked completely lost and useless when he has been on the floor this season, which does not bring teams knocking down your door for him.  I am not writing him off, but no one is going to pay much of anything for him until he proves he is better than the average D-league player on both ends of the floor, not just defensively.

I want Battier as much as anyone, but I think you are dramatically underrating how valuable he is, and what other teams will be offering for him if he does become available.

I think right now, Daniels may be the most likely option to trade.  He has an expiring contract, that could be paired with cash or a pick or two to try to get a decent replacement.

The first place I would look would be Cleveland.  Both Moon and
Parker would be excellent options, and may be available for some cash and a second rounder to go along with Daniels' contract.

Some other options would be Tracy McGrady, Dahntay Jones (they would love to get an expiring for him), and maybe even Al Thornton (if we throw in our first rounder...which won't be worth a ton anyways).

The other option is to trade Daniels along with cash to pay him, and a little something for their troubles to a team under the cap, or a team with a TPE and who is not over the luxury tax.  Then they can go after buy outs or free agents, and will save a few million off Daniels' luxury tax.

I also think that Marquis and a 1st for Jamario Moon is the best realistic option.

Reasons:
1. He probably covered LeBron every day in practice and knows him well;
2. Dan Gilbert would probably OK the trade just to give us an edge on the heat;
3. Cavs are rebuilding and would find a pick attractive;
4. Moon and Daniels both expire after this year - little risk for anyone.
