I think the kid is going to be excellent, and with the Pacers in dassaray, everyone is expendable at the right price. My suggested trade to the Pacers is:

Von Wafer/Avery Bradley/Nate Robinson - G
Shaq/Semerh Erdan - C

Celtics recieve:
Roy Hibbert - C
TJ Ford - G

Welcome to the blog.  It's great to have you aboard.

I'm not sure if the Pacers would move Hibbert, but if they did, I think it would be for "building block" type of players.  Wafer and Nate have low value around the league (as demonstrated by Wafer's non-guaranteed minimum contract, and the fact that Nate got no interest in free agency and was available for very little at last year's deadline).  Shaq is ancient, and Erden's ceiling is probably as a backup center.

The only guy with any real long-term value is Bradley, and he's a complete unknown at this point.  Indy will need a lot more than that to move an established starting center.

I think that the trade is great for the Celtics, and very poor for the Pacers, making it unrealistic. The Pacers value Hibbert way higher than anyone the Celtics are sending their way, either individually or as a group.

Why would the Pacers trade Hibbert who's still on his rookie deal for a backup PG, an unproven PG, and a bunch of minimum contract guys?

The Pacers value Hibbert much more highly, they'd trade him for talent yes, but they aren't getting much back.

I don't think Danny is looking to trade for anything cept a steal deal or a SF. Thats just my take though.

The way Hibbert has worked to build his body and improve his game, I see parallels to Perk.

He's way too valuable to trade for parts.

How exactly did you construct this trade? Picked the five worst players on our roster, picked the players you want from the team you want, and tossed them in the mixing bowl to see whether the salaries match?

If thats the case we neet to change TJ for Mike
then we have my indiana binkies on board
