I'd be much happier with the Spurs.  I think they're more beatable and I'd be happier seeing them beat us than the Lakers.  If the Lakers win this year, they tie us for most titles.

Happier?  I hope you meant less depressed, because I can't find it possible to be happy on any level losing a championship.

I would have never said before last year but I wouldn't mind meeting the Spurs instead of the Lakers in the Finals.

Less chance of another fix.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I think that goes without saying.

The Spurs are a perfect storm so far this season.  If the Spurs stay healthy, I'd rather play the Lakers.  If Bryant has a bad game, the Lakers are very beatable.

More than half of the Spurs roster has led the team in scoring at least once this season.  Starters minutes are in the low 30s or less.  They still have by far the best record in the NBA.  Barring injury this is going to be a very fresh team come playoff time.
