TP's to any judgement, criticism or playoff predictions for my team so far.

Starters
PG Russell Westbrook (heavy minutes)
SG Vince Carter (limited minutes)
SF Kevin Durant
PF Antawn Jamison
C  DeJuan Blair

Sixth Man
C  Josh McRoberts (slightly less minutes than Blair)
     or
SG Anthony Morrow

Bench
PG T.J. Ford (limited minutes at point, some at SG)
SF Sonny Weems
PF Craig Smith

I'm looking at one more big man with my next pick.
Awfully small up front and I HATE Vince Carter with this team but that said, overall, I very solid team though I am not crazy about the bench. Durant, Westbrook and Carter will be play big, big minutes.

I'm hoping Morrow can respond around solid veterans the same way Rondo did, and take over the SG spot for Vince Carter one day. I tried to piece together a team that had a bright future. I'm not 100 percent satisfied, but I feel good.
St. Louis Bombers (formerly Sacremento Kings)

PG-Tyreke Evans/Avery Bradley/John Lucas III
SG-Nick Young/Rudy Fernandez
SF-Linas Kleiza/MarShon Brooks
PF-Al Harrington/Kenneth Faried/Reggie Evans
 C-Roy Hibbert/Ian Mahinmi/Jason Smith  10.18

Yet another trade:

PG: Nash
SG: Afflalo
SF: Ariza
PF: Jamison
C:  Jordan

Bench: Mayo, Casspi, McDyess, Wallace, McRoberts

Better frontcourt fit. I also think that our team defense and rebounding has improved, hopefully leading to more transition opportunities.

I recognize that Ariza's become a poor shooter in NO; I acquired him more for his defense than his offense. I wonder if he might work at PF in a small-ball lineup, with Casspi at SF.

Still working on the roster. I am hoping for at least one more major trade.
Good team. I like what you have done since starting off trying to be actually worse defensively than the real Suns. The team's weakness though is defense at the point and the youth and non youth up front. Not sure Jordan is quite ready and think Wallace, McDyess and Jamison have seen better days. I don't count McRoberts since I just think he is not a very good NBA player.

Get this team to the playoffs healthy though and the experience and intelligence of the vets will surprise a team or two.

Thanks, but now I screwed it all up, and traded Jamison for Brand.

PG: Nash
SG: Afflalo
SF: Ariza
PF: Brand
C:  Jordan

Bench: Mayo, Casspi, McDyess, Wallace

Can a Brand-Jordan frontcourt work? I think it can, for 20-25 minutes a night. Brand can move to the C next to Wallace/McDyess, no?

Why limited minutes for Vince Carter?

Cuz a lack of speed could hurt this team defensively...although this is more of an offense first team.

I think you're really going to struggle to defend. I'd make a point to try to trade Vince Carter for a defensive two who doesn't need the ball as much. Even though he's not nearly as talented, a guy like Courtney Lee would be better served in your lineup.
If trading Vince, I would consider a defensive big man the biggest priority.

Edit: Courtney Lee would be a very good glue guy at the two for this team though. Very good defensive player and a very good perimeter shooter. He'll do a nice job pulling together OKC's offense and defense.

I think it would be a mistake to limit Vince's minutes.

I don't think any of your bench players bring more to the table than Vince would. Best to give him 30+ minutes.

Morrow is a below average defender too. He gives you a bit more quickness but he is smaller and has a tougher time against taller/stronger two guards. Sonny Weems is the best defensive two guard on your team but he is limited jump shooter.

Vince Carter has the best overall skill-set at the two. Best offensive player, best rebounder and a comparable (albeit different) defensive player to Morrow. I think Vince brings the most to the table out of those players.

I am liking the idea of bringing back Josh McRoberts and using Elton Brand as a sixth man where he would surely be a sixth man of the year candidate ... while McRoberts brings you the best combination of defense/rebounding while allowing you to play Phoenix Suns uptempo basketball.

I tried hard to keep McRoberts, but JB stood firm. It was a dealbreaker. Hoping to get a similar type player with an upcoming draft pick.

I like Brand on this team better than either Jamison or McRoberts, especially at the 5 in a small ball tempo offense. He's also tougher than both those guys combined and will get you a bunch of rebounds on the offensive end and is still a good defensive rebounder.

Good young team.  I think you need more help up front though.  Hanging your hat on Oden to produce, well, your hat's going to wind up on the floor instead of hanging.

very solid playoff team.  may not win it all but could give a top contender fits--particularly in the backcourt.  also need to make sure Butler and Noah are healthy.

When at full strength, the starting five is very strong. Jameer may be the weakest link, but you have an able backup in Bibby. Both will need to make sure to spread the shots around to keep everyone happy.

Not wild about your bench bigs. Nenad, when he doesn't have a chair handy, seems a little soft, and Diogu is unfocused. Might like to see a gritty, journeyman big in the next round. There are a couple on the board that could do the trick, I think.

Definitely like how the trade of Josh Smith worked out.  Got a terrific rebounder and scorer in Millsap, and a vet defender in Bell.

I think Right now, my starting 5 would be incredibly tough to defend.  Deron and Salmons can create their own shots and create for others.  Rashard Spreads the floor, and both my Bigs are active and can finish around the rim.
