Does anyone know when Delonte's return is coming? I may have missed something but last I heard he was coming back mid-January. I think evaluating him on his return could play a large part in what we do at the trade deadline. Thanks   ;D

from yahoo

Jan 26 G Delonte West took part in a portion of Monday's practice and he moves closer to a return from a broken right wrist. An encouraging sign is the fact he was able to use his right hand when receiving passes. West, as is his custom, remained on the floor for a long shooting session after the practice.

Jan 23 West (wrist) has joined the Celtics on their road trip but will not return until after the All-Star break, according to the Boston Globe.
Recommendation: West has been out since late November, but the C's have expressed caution with their injuries, so expect them to give him more time off rather than rush him back.

From Edgar's post the altest seems to indicate post AS break.

However, I wouldnt be surprised to see him sooner. Look at what happened with Perk and that was a knee.

I think he'll come back before the all star break.  He won't play much (more than 15-20 mpg, I would be shocked) to see how it feels until the after all star break

no sense rushing things with him. A half season left. He'd always in shape and I don't see a long getting into the groove thing with him either. I always liked his game. I think with Delonte and Perk back I don't believe anyone can beat us best of 7. We are loaded with the type of talent that can make a season look easy. Everyone knows their place.

I really want him to come back on the 2nd Laker's game in Boston but after the all star break is fine.

That'd be ideal.  I wanna see how badly we beat the Lakers when healthy (minus JO).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

And JO is skipping the surgery so if they meet in the Finals, he's yet another weapon on defense and with shot-blocking.

Do you think Nate will become trade bait if West comes back and is ready to go?

That is only if he comes back a couple of games before the All-Star break and shows he can be productive from the get-go. But that is highly doubtful. Nate may be a streaky shooter, but once he is on a roll (like last year against Orlando, or 2 days ago against the Lakers) he can't be stopped, and we need such players for the playoffs.

Yeah I don't think a significant upgrade can be made with Nate. But I think that with Delonte back people will be seeing a more explosive Nate and he will become a key part of our bench.
