  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
My money is on Ray.

Sorry Paul, but shooting is just what Ray does.

considering they took Bibby in 07-08 over House i dont see the league doing this. keep in mind that even was in Phoenix which is where(in general) both Bibby and House are from. Bibby had a first round exit...

They really should.  Probably will wait to see if Ray makes the team.  If he doesn't, I can't see him showing up just for the contest.
Exactly what I was thinking. I only see it happening if he is already going to be there.

That doesn't really matter, Craig Hodges competed one year and he wasn't even on an NBA roster.  He simply showed up as the defending champ.

Very true ... you don't have to make the All-Star roster to compete in any of the other contests.

I would love to see it happen. And honestly it's the only year where you could see 2 players from the same team in the contest : Pierce because he is the defending champion and Ray because he will probably have made a new historic record on all-time 3 pointers made by then.

I hope Pierce wins so he can say that he is the best shooter in the world, especially after beating the best shooter. ;D

If Ray doesn't make the all-star team he's probably going on vacation.

  • go Celtics!
Personally, If both Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were in the NBA 3-point contest then you'd have to hope that either of those two guys wins it so the Boston Celtics have more insurance that they are the best-shooting team in the league right now.

I'm not saying that it would be impossible for one of the other competitors to win the contest, however if our two best shooters were in the NBA 3-point contest it would certainly be nice if a Boston Celtic was able to win the 3-point contest two seasons in a row...
