The Oklahoma City Thunder select OJ Mayo.

He's got to get better, right?

In the pick 2 rules, banned substances were never made illegal. I take full advantage of this.

He gets the gold star for most rapid decline.  He was a 1st rounder in last year's CB draft.

The Folsom Prison Blue Therapists select:  Nicolas Batum

Not the biggest name, but the Therapists need role players who can defend and play efficiently.  Also, Denver apparently covets him in a Carmelo trade, but Portland absolutely refuses to give him up.

Wait, the Lakers traded up for Chauncey Billups and moved up in the 2nd round? Nice trick that.

Is Miami on the clock?

Yeah, move up in the 1st and 2nd, down from the 6th to the 7th.

You're up.

Interesting.  I'd have him as my third best PG left on the board, but still definitely a good value pick here.

P.S. Redz I'd like an explanation on this 2nd round swap along with your pick. Thanks in advance.

There were in fact two other point guards that I considered with this pick. I ultimately decided, Lawson offered the best balance of running an offense in transition, three point shooting and defense.

Also, it didn't hurt that in five starts this season he's averaged 17 points on 53% shooting, 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 1 steal.

I don't know if Redz will be around to make his pick (he sent me a list, which has two names crossed it now), but I think his reasoning was that he didn't see a lot of difference in two slots in either round, and liked the value of moving up around 26 spots in the later round.

Plus, it's part of our mod conspiracy to bring down The Wiggle.

Redz selects Jamal Crawford.  I'll be curious to see if he's slotted at SG, or sixth man.

Wait...  Lebron and Wade are going to let a PG run their offense?   ???
